“When we got out to them, Tom was in the river and his kayak was upside down and full of water. It was so heavy, he couldn’t turn it over. We asked him, ‘Do you need any help?’ and he said ‘Yeah.’” One of the people who saved Brady’s life (should we use quotes? It really didn’t sound life-threatening), a 28-year-old teacher, asked him for a photo and he obliged. “Of course, you guys saved my life.” Only six weeks to training camp. [Inside Track]
