CB’s problem is despite a pretty complete game (few post moves, great facing up, great range and jump shot for a PF) he has no real ‘goto’ move, can stuggle to get good post position against good defenders and he’s not athletically dominant. Hes a very polished and effcient player, and definitely does not have Gasol’s post game. Any team with a tough interior defender or that can committ to doubling will stop him from scoring in crunch time. Case in point, they still haven’t scrubbed out the blood stains on the ACC floor from what Howard did to bosh in the playoffs last year.

Yeah, if he had a great wing player like wade where it would be harder to double him and keep things a bit more spread out, it could def work as a kobe/gasol type thing.

This is really it, there is only a few guys who can put a team on their back and win a game. CB4 is not one of those, but he has a very polished offensive game, and for a team with a couple options can be very productive on both ends.

Gasol is only 28…Bosh will continue to improve but he would not be better than Gasol at the moment. I don’t trust that guy’s game at all when I see him play.

Also, I actually like Parker. Given the right fit, I think he would play the Ariza role well for another team.

Also, I would take a guy like Calderon over the likes of Rafer Alston any day. Dude can straight up ball…his injury slowed him down last year, but when he’s healthy, he’s one of the most efficient guards in the league.

What I’m actually hoping for is that Rubio’s stock drops down (it won’t) and the Raptors grab him. That kid is going to be special IMO.
