I worked on the other end of the phone for a major bank card division for awhile before being laid off, and I saw how the scams are run including paying folks about $2 per hour at best overseas to offer you shittier service and so forth. Did they pass down any of the savings or profits to us before being bailed out due to largely their own greed? They have the money folks so fuck ‘em now and fuck ‘em hard.

“Absolute garbage” is a little harsh. I would have rather seen them leave it alone, but they were forced to make changes to it to deal with the increase in distance that the game has seen. There’s a significant amount of history there, plus the membership does a great job at running tourneys.

valid, but “absolute garbage” is when compared to other major venues. it’s just not anything special. and if we’re knocking major courses, id like to add merion and oak hill (ive played there…it’s hard as shit) in rochester, ny.

personally, i know it’s impossible because of either the membership or the courses’ suitability for that much traffic, but id love to see a major at pine valley or colonial.
