I posted an "I told you so" on this one when TBL posted on it the first time. Why bother? Geez based on the cheesy previews what did you expect? Most of us would rather see some athlete screwing some hot mactress at best, and that's not going to happen yet on TV. Am I the only one who prefers shows like "4th and Long" and "Breaking Bad" on cable stations versus any television network bullshit? It seems like TBL Godfather has something against "4th and Long" or Michael Irvin, I have no idea, as it is an excellent show though overdramatised for TV to a great degree by Michael Irvin. Then again he has many a Hall of Famer, even more than just Cowboys, stop by the show. Otherwise, that is the absolute greatest athletic competition I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure I could do the first obstacle, then I'm toast. I disagree that it's gotten stale, because they change those obstacles all the time. A new guy made the final stage on Sunday's airing. He destroyed stage 3. Salmon Ladder = impossible; Cliffhanger = impossible. You've got to be light to even have a chance. I wish that on Ninja Warrior they had 100 real competitors try the course.
