Berkman just got off to a horrible start. He’s raised his average, OBP, and OBPS significantly and steadily over the past month, and he’s still on track for 30+ homers and 100 RBI. I’ll bet the house his BA is back above .300 at the end of the year.

Exactly, A-Rod is still having a decent season. Brynes is/was good defensively even though he’s slipped. Can’t really argue with James, though.

a-rod is still on pace for a 30 home run season (short season after hip surgery) and Ortiz has been declining for more than just this season. Berkman has always been up and down, Byrnes was a flash in the pan two seasons ago with 50 SB, Soriano we now know is older than he originally said he was, and i got nothing on Renteria (don’t pay attention to him.)
