Its funny, he had about 45 break chances in hewitt’s 1st service game of this set and blew all of them. He looks ridiculously tight.

But Roddick should win this. No tiebreak in this set and his service games have been really good. He has a much better shot of breaking Hewitt than the other way around.

Roddick is the biggest waste of talent ever. Although a lack of grand slams probably has a lot to do with Federer more than anything else.

TBL- I think you should do a post on biggest upgrades in sports. Hewitt from Kim Clijsters to Bec Cartwright has to be at the top of the list.
By the way on Roddick, two more break points and he hits a forehand out on a second serve and dumps a backhand into the net. My god, he has lost the mental part. Now arguing with the umpire over a point he won. Get a grip.

Why would Hossa sign a 12 year deal? Makes no sense. Are these guys really worried about the economy tanking and never making this much again?

Well he won’t play out the deal there that’s for sure. I mean those kind of deals worked out so well for the Flyers and Islanders right?
Chicago gets him at a steal, but I’m curious as to how this will impact their ability to lock up the kids next offseason with next years cap possibly dropping four million (read that number last night as a conservative estimate, wow).

@mole – If they don’t lock up Johnny Toews, I’ll burn down the UC. Kane is 2nd potato…but still a great talent. Toews is our future for sure.

First of all, golf isn’t a verb. You play golf, you don’t golf. Secondly, me and some buddies may or may not have been guilty of playing in sneakers, jeans, and hoodies a time or two during the winter at the muni at which I used to work.
