It’s not a joke, I know of at least 3 HOAs in my area that ban basketball hoops over garages. Also, a good HOA doesn’t exist. Sure, the rationale for a HOA is good, but HOA’s only function to enable the sanctimonious, retired pricks of the world to drown working people in technicalities.
