Richard Jefferson, who was just traded to the San Antonio Spurs last month, got cold feet and pulled a Jake Plummer – he called his gorgeous cheerleader fiancee, Kesha Ni’col Nichols the weekend before their $2 million wedding and called it off. According to the New York Post, Jefferson did such a poor job of notifying guests about the change of plans that some folks showed up.

He never showed up at the hotel, but “all his boys were there,” the friend said. “He gave his best friend the Black Amex [credit card] for the night.” Jefferson’s guests made good use of the credit card to party on their pal’s dime.

How generous of him. In case you’re wondering, Jefferson’s slated to make $14 million this season, and $15 million in 2011. With any luck, the San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers are sure to welcome Jefferson with open arms.
