A-Rod’s Road Beef Needs the Chris Robinson Diet
Baseball July 22nd. 2009, 9:20am
This is Kate Hudson Monday night at the Yankees-Orioles game. This picture was apparently taken shortly after the actress savagely raided Ben Roethlisberger’s acorn stash.
Wow, what exactly happened here? This is usually the expected look after the devastating break-up.
Poor A-Rod, $30 million a season, basically calls South Beach his home, and he’s still emerging from an inconceivable pile of poon with the Shallow Hal version of Kate Hudson.
[Ed. Really - what happened? Here she is at a movie premiere a year or two ago.]

Does this mean she has breasts now?
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:26 am
Bunch of Brad Pitts and George Clooneys must run this blog.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:27 am
So you’re telling me that a hollywood actress is more attractive on the red carpet than a in candid shot at a baseball game? Shocking.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:29 am
Let’s see. In one photo she is going to a movie premier, in the other she is at a ball game. I’m shocked, just shocked that she looks better at the premier.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:31 am
My guess is she finally watched one of her acting performances besides Almost Famous and spiraled into depression.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:31 am
Its called having a makeup artist. How do some guys not get this by now?
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:33 am
Agree, bsanders. I always love the “yes, no, no” lines people drop on this site when looking at a group of women.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:34 am
This woman is too skinny and then too fat. Why can’t she just be ideal and leave it alone?
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:34 am
@bsanders: This isn’t being overly picky. She looks like the fat friend among a bunch of decently hot chicks at Brother Jimmys.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:34 am
Are there going to be any SPORTS-related posts today? Just because A-Roid and EA’s social lives f’d up doesn’t mean everyone wants to constantly discuss them. Baseball’s trade deadline is approaching, college football is right around the corner, NFL training camps are about to start – I know it’s rather slow in sports right now, but it’s not dead…
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:34 am
Did anyone else hear that comment in a Bruno voice. Hello!
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:35 am
So to go to a game you have to call your makeup artist over? Funny thing is, had she done that and it was reported, she would get slammed for that too.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:36 am
@crackerjack: No, it’s called hot dogs.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:37 am
yes, yes it is.
nothing in NFL. nothing in NBA. MLB will get covered later. But i hope you can handle the yankees being in 1st …
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:38 am
Crackerjack is a chick, boss.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:38 am
Awesome.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:39 am
My point was that she doesnt feel the need(and rightly so) to get overly made up every time she is in public. So, my answer would be no.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:40 am
BSanders: whenever you a re ready to play “hi-jack the thread and turn into a football conversation game” let me know.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:40 am
College football it is!!
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:42 am
Dude in the hat needs to pop a beer bottle open with those front teeth of hers.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:43 am
Done. GOTG: Any coaches you think on the hot seat this year. I’m having a hard time coming up with one. I feel like there are no high profile jobs that are up for debate. Not even Zook at Illinois.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:45 am
I can think of better things to stuff in her mouth than a beer bottle.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:46 am
Pretty sure the hot seat will make room for people by the time Week 2 rolls around.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:47 am
yes, yes it is.
nothing in NFL.
Come on, TBL. You know the Farve deadline is approaching!
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:49 am
Open question – why are the over/under cfb lines not for every DI team?
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:51 am
[Ed. Really - what happened? Here she is at a movie premiere a year or two ago.]
I dunno…why don’t you set up a peephole camera in her hotel room and find out?
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:51 am
How is he even close to the hot seat? The dude took them to a much undeserved BCS bowl game.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:54 am
Jersey- Charlie Weis is on the hot seat.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:54 am
Yea. You’re right. I really can’t think of anybody who HAS to win this season. The only person I can think of is Weis. He has to win 8-9 games this season. Should win 11.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:54 am
i have to assume Weis is on the hot seat
/since everyone is saying Meyer is going to coach ND
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:55 am
And isn’t every SEC coach automatically be on the hot seat?
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:55 am
bwahahahahahahahahahaha!
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:00 am
ND win 11?
in what fucking universe?
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:00 am
Spurrier. He is not on the hot seat from the higher ups, but he is in terms of his own ego. If he struggles again this year I would not be surprised to see him retire. If Arizona struggles again look for Stoops to be in trouble too.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:00 am
i see 9 wins..i think they lose to michigan, mich. st, USC, and 1 other team that they will overlook
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:01 am
Who is beating ND this year besides USC and whoever we play in the bowl game?
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:02 am
Don’t forget their traditional bowl ass-whupping
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:03 am
they will lose at Spartan Stadium South before they lose to USC.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:03 am
We are beating Michigan this year. I would put both my nuts on this. Mich St.? They would have to play very well and we would have to come out very shitty for that one. I don;t see that happening.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:05 am
If it isn’t MSU, it may not be anyone else. I could see them getting upset by someone and being 10-2 or 9-3 in the regular season. They have a soft schedule so that type of season is not out of the question. If they play a Bama, LSU or UGA in the bowl game it would be a massacre, but maybe they could get lucky and play a weak ACC or Big East team. Who knows.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:06 am
where do you get off with this? you supposedly always have more talent than us, but we have fucking owned you the last 12 years. especially in South Bend.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:07 am
I can see that Notre Dame losses (multiple) will be very fun with Jersey around… ND is good for one bad loss, a definite against USC, a probable against Michigan State, and a toss-up against tooth-less UM.
And offering up your nuts? Dude. Seriously. Stop. Now.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:08 am
The only games that I’ll watch with a litttle bit of fear are mich state. and Boston College (I will never understand why they have our number so badly)
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:08 am
they lost 2 years ago to Navy (almost again), and at home last year to fucking Syracuse. there is nothing that says they are a good team, orthat you can pencil them in for any victory.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:10 am
i see 9 wins..i think they lose to michigan, mich. st, USC, and 1 other team that they will overlook
That’s about what I see as well.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:11 am
Since 2002, Mich State 4- ND 3…. how is that owned?
You guys deserve a Golden Homer on this site.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:11 am
BECAUSE THEY ARE BETTER THAN YOU!!!!!11!!!!!
/shakes shoulders, calls the producers of “Intervention”
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:12 am
I am very interested to see how ND does this year. Before the bowl game they were a laughing stock, then they beat a bad Hawai’i team and all of the sudden Clausen is the star he was supposed to be and ND is back!! I still need to see it first. This team looked so bad at times last year that you have to think that some of that will rear its ugly face this year.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:13 am
Michigan State doesn’t own anyone. It’s tough being little brother.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:13 am
Since 2002, Mich State 4- ND 3…. how is that owned?
is that 12 years?
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:13 am
is that 12 years?
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:15 am
Juice Williams sucks. That is all.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:16 am
An extremely young, and bad team. Last year was an abomination, I’ll admit that much. But I trust that these guys are better this season… we have serious weapons on offense, and a line that has had a year of experience together under their belts. I have high expectations for this team, thats all I’m trying to say. And I really hope we beat the piss out of Mich State this year.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:18 am
Agree, bsanders. I always love the “yes, no, no†lines people drop on this site when looking at a group of women
good
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:20 am
Ok, you’ve owned us. I’ll agree. You still haven’t told me why you’ll beat us THIS YEAR.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:23 am
If 2008 was an abomination, what was 2007?
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:24 am
We blew some terrible games last year down the stretch. But thats what gives me hope. We were close to being a real good team last year, but we just couldn’t keep it together. Lot of guys come back this year, particularly on offense. I really can’t wait for us to stomp some of these guys out this year.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:26 am
2007 was a bunch of freshmen and 1st year guys playing football. We weren’t SUPPOSED to be good.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:28 am
our defense is going to be sick. you can’t run the ball. trevor anderson is going to eat jimmy.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:31 am
Here’s a Notre Dame schedule question: How many of ND’s opponents will have a winning record?
I ask because ND has not beaten a non-Naval Academy team with a winning record since the middle of 2006 (UCLA, 10/21/06). Will the trend change this year?
In Charlie Cheeseburger’s 4 years, they have beaten 7 teams with winning records, including the Naval Academy 3 times. Stellar.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:31 am
The difference is ND has potential for 11 wins, MSU does not.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:33 am
we sure as fuck do. no OSU on our schedule, and PSU is at home. i don’t think we will, but hell yeah we have a chance.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:34 am
true, but only because of their schedule
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:37 am
Anyone hear Ken Singleton call it an NFL schedule the other night when Weis was in the booth?
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:41 am
We won’t have to.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:47 am
yeah, that has worked out well the last couple years.
Damn! why isn’t it football season yet?!?!?!?!?!
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:48 am
I did. I swear Hernia, if I wasn’t watching the tv, I would have thought there was some serious fellatio going on in the booth. And I heart Michael Kay, but that was ridiculous.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:49 am
i turned off the volume.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:50 am
Seriously… someone needs to play football from April to July.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:52 am
they really don’t tho.
unless you consider northwestern or oregon state having potential for 11 wins also.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:54 am
Dabo Swinney will be on the hot seat before October’s over. Book it. If Climpson loses to South Carolina, he’s done. Also, Notre Dame blows goats, and if they back into a BCS bowl with their Charmin schedule, they’ll get slaughtered.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:59 am
i’ll go with vegas on this one too.. they say 8.5 so they’ll probably win 8 or 9
July 22nd, 2009 at 11:10 am
But we really do. We have studs on offense and nasty front seven this year on defense. Our schedule is weak and because we are ND, we will make a bcs bowl. Will it be unfair, yes. Will I care. No. Kiss my ass
July 22nd, 2009 at 1:19 pm
I would like to congratulate all participants in a successful thread jack. By comment 40 I had no memory of what the post was originally about. And in this case, that’s a good thing.

@ms621: Look at the picture full size. Hot, right? http://thebiglead.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/12.jpg
