yeah, you wouldn’t want to look at the trade from the start of last season, when it would have been made or anything. No reason you’d want to have had Santana in pinstripes for 1.5 seasons when you had Hughes lighting it up last year in Scranton and has been good with the Stankees for 6 weeks.

when the competition for that title is the D-Train, not a hard title to win. Kinda like being Heavyweight champ 10 years ago (Foreman years), or golfer other than Tiger.

For what it’s worth….

There are rumors that the Cards had agreed to trade Duncan to Boston in exchange for Lugo last night. TLR and Duncan’s pop threatened to quit and the deal was called off. Duncan was just optioned to AAA.

It could be an interesting couple of days in STL.
