Joe Posnanski Has Left the Kansas City Star for Sports Illustrated*

A year ago this month, Kansas City Star columnist Joe Posnanski was scooped up by Sports Illustrated to write a column for SI.com, which also re-printed his wildly popular blog. In addition to the column, he ended up writing a much talked-about cover story for the mag on Zack Grienke. And now, multiple sources have confirmed to us that Posnanski has left the KC Star for a full-time gig at Sports Illustrated. An email to Posnanski has not yet been returned.
