sorry, but no. you can thank the allman brothers for that…duane allman, especially, since he was doing that with eric clapton on the derek and the dominoes album before thin lizzy broke it big.

I am sticking with Thin Lizzy. Allman may have done some of it with D and the Domino’s but the process became common use thanks to Thin Lizzy. No shots at Allman.

I, personally, think Thin Lizzy is a fairly underrated band. Of course, I am speaking from a guitar stand point. You can thank them for every dual guitar harmony part of any rock song.
