E’s Difficult Decision on Entourage
1-liner, Television August 24th. 2009, 3:30pm
Entourage: For a variety of reasons, some of you have soured on Entourage. (And yes, it is only a tiny, yet vocal faction that hates the show; ratings for the season opener were its best since 2007). For those of you that still like the show, we must ask, with earnest puzzlement, about E’s impending love triangle. There’s Sloane (left in the pic), Ashley (right in the pic; she has generated more emails and negative comments to us than anyone in the show’s history) and Kate Mara, who joined the show last night as his secretary. What’s the move here for E? We’re pretty sure 95 percent of you would instantly cut the frail Alexis Dziena, whose name elicits angry responses from males and females alike. Which leaves Emmanuelle Chriqui and Kate Mara. Difficult. As for the show, last night’s episode might have been the best of the season. Bob Saget’s cameo was better than the one he had a few seasons ago, Scott Caan has a Bradley Cooper-in-Wedding Crashers prick quality about him, and Drama-in-peril is Kevin Dillon at his best.

I’m not sure what people expect out of Entourage. Do you want a drama, a comedy? What? I like it because you can sit there an enjoy it for what it is. A highly fictional story about people running into famous people in LA and being rich. You don’t have to think about it. It entertains me and that all I look for out of tv or movies.
I’ve been a couple parties in the Hollywood Hills and lets just say, some of this stuff does happen.

Emmanuelle Chriqui is one of most beautiful women ever, IMO. E is already out-kicking his coverage with this woman.
BTW: I fully admit to giving up on this show around the time the Medellin episodes aired. And yes, this video sort of sums it up for me.

So, what’s the ref gonna do, blow the whistle before the do the corner kick? I don’t get what the complaint was about there. I mean, Liverpool was bitching out of pettiness/bitterness of the goal. But, realistically, Villa was moving forward around the one minute mark and got a corner kick. If the goalie doesn’t boot the ball away/get a yellow card, they score right around a minute 15 seconds, right?

Sure, it doesn’t take long to get another, but, it’s kind of hard to dispute that more time ran off the clock because of that.
At what point are you saying the ref should have blown the whistle, I guess is what I’m wondering. I mean, once he didn’t blow it during play or before the kick that led to the corner, how can he then blow the whistle before the corner?

I was being a dick about the other ball. My view was there was a lot less than a minute of time that should of been added, so before 46 minutes was up, he should of blew the whistle.
There’s really no point arguing, I get what your saying and I’m not complaining about the goal. Liverpool didn’t do shit to stop that second goal. I just felt the whistle should of gone well before.

I may be one of the few who actually likes Alexis. She is certainly not in Kate or Emanuelle’s league but she is still an attractive girl and out of E’s league.

Made the mistake of watching the show in HD and caught E’s freckled, pale arms and thought “no way this little midget is getting it on with Sloan.” The little girl he’s been dating this season is far more in his lane.
Still like the show. Just hate the focus on E…. More Ari.

Entourage is still good. Everyone hates Entourage b/c it’s cool to hate it now. If you want to watch a great series, just watch the bumbling Obama administration. This is must see TV.
In the latest episode, they “are deeply dissapointed” in the hero’s welcome that the Lockerbie bomber recieved. Notice they aren’t dissapointed in the fact that, you know, they fucking released him! The UK asks the US if it’s ok to pick their nose, so try to figure out if GOD (Barry O) didn’t give the ok on this…
So, yea, quit bitching about Entourage. It’s a fun show… nothing more, nothing less.

If your going to argue that Entourage is good because people are watching it I’d like to direct you to Deal or no Deal, a show that even now destroy’s Entourage in the ratings and yet has the intellectual vigor of the WAG in the next post. I just saw Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, where she’s supposed to be the hot ex girlfriend. She was doing some lame ass sexy dance, and it was gross. She looks like a stick figure with a googly eye and a perm. Then somehow, not two hours later, I was flipping channels and there she was again on some shitty movie with Matt McConaghey and Goldie Hawn’s daughter, in which she was also gross. She’s gross.

Hung and True Blood both suck. I watched two episodes of each and bailed. I even tried 15 minutes of Hung again last night turned it off.
I’m hoping Curb Your Enthusiasm will be decent when it returns next month. There’s so few TV series I like to watch anymore.
