Allen Iverson Might Join the Memphis Grizzlies Today
1-liner, NBA September 4th. 2009, 10:45amAllen Iverson: The 34-year-old guard is expected to finally sign with the Grizzlies today. Looks like he’ll make between $3.5-4.4 million. It’s not exactly the way he’s going to want to end his career – in Memphis, on a 35-win team, probably feuding with OJ Mayo and Zach Randolph. On paper we like the team’s talent, and we could envision a scenario in which Memphis contends for a playoff spot in the West. But … there are just too many ballhogs and personalities on this squad for cohesion to happen in year one. [Commercial Appeal]

Too bad he’s not signing somewhere that people without the League Pass can watch him play.
