College Football’s Noon Extravaganza
College Football, Kickoff Weekend September 5th. 2009, 11:30am
It’s awesome that college football added the extra weekend, so we can be adrenalized by noon games like these.
Navy at Ohio St. is the “marquee” matchup you can find on ESPN, and another barn-burner, Minnesota at Syracuse, can be seen on the Deuce. Kentucky at Miami of Ohio may be the best option on ESPNU.
The Big 10 Network may also provide you Akron at Penn St., Towson at Northwestern, and Montana St. at Michigan State. You know it’s going to be riveting when Vegas won’t even set a line.
It’s a soporific start for soccer as well, with just England vs. Slovenia on FSC to tantalize you.
We will take our cue from the teams playing right now, and save the heavy-lifting for later.

I believe you missed a game, sir.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:39 am
NOONSTRAVANGANZA!!!!!1!!1!!1
September 5th, 2009 at 11:40 am
Those VT practice helmets are better than their game helmets.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:43 am
Those were all the TV games I saw. I won’t acknowledge ESPN360 until I can access it.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:45 am
Don’t know if it got brought up in the other thread, but that dude behind Gameday with the Giant Charlie Weis Donut head was awesome.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:45 am
you got Time Warner or Cablevsion, don’t you?
September 5th, 2009 at 11:45 am
VPN is your friend…every college gets 360 for free, surely you’re still affiliated with some institution of higher learning.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:47 am
I’ve got some ying in my ying yang and some zing in my zing zang this morning, and its been sorely missed. Time to beat up some Zips.
I know there are some DC people around here, if you’re familiar with Arlington, this is fantastic.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:50 am
Under Armour basically using the Friday Nights theme in that commercial. Original.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:51 am
i cant decide between msu and england. wish i had pip on this shitty tv.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:53 am
Big Ten has Iowa/UNI here, Ty. Not bitching, just sayin’.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:54 am
Chipper Jones with the old jersey/turtleneck combo.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:54 am
KU/Northern Colorado. Whooptee. I think I’ll wait until next week.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:55 am
ESPN was able to dig up a Skip Caray radio call for the Chipper intro piece. Nicely done.
September 5th, 2009 at 11:59 am
Here comes the headgear!!!
September 5th, 2009 at 12:03 pm
wow, Pam Ward doing play by play for Syracuse/Minnesota…
September 5th, 2009 at 12:05 pm
That’s one of the best blocks in the back you’ll see executed all year by Ohio St. on the kickoff.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:05 pm
nice fucking block on the kickoff!!! and i hate tOSU
September 5th, 2009 at 12:06 pm
Nice start for Syracuse…snap 20 feet over Paulus’s head
September 5th, 2009 at 12:08 pm
Good ol’ Syracuse football…only team they can beat is Notre Dame.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:13 pm
Damn, I go to pick up the groceries and I miss two touchdowns in the ESPN games. My old plasma screen with 13 picture capability died, and now I have just a regular plasma that doesn’t even have PIP/PBP. I’m struggling here……..
September 5th, 2009 at 12:16 pm
Hang in there Jay. It’s the first weekend of the season, they’re going to be some jitters.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:17 pm
im rocking the 8 year old tube tv jay. i think i might have it worse.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:20 pm
Navy’s running the triple option beautifully right now.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:21 pm
I wish Eric Decker would have signed with the Twins rather than wasting his future playing football
September 5th, 2009 at 12:21 pm
navy looking awesome. nice play
September 5th, 2009 at 12:22 pm
and navy puts 7 on the board…
September 5th, 2009 at 12:23 pm
Big Brain on Brett woul like to have a word with you. Navy has this one in the bag I say.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:23 pm
Big Ten Network will be getting a letter drafted on Souvenir City letter head by Monday…
WHERE IS MY IOWA GAME YOU COCKSUCKERS!?!?!
September 5th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
I did the old regular TV all summer and I lost my mind. I gave my old plasma to a local repair guy who doesn’t know shit in May and he’s “still waiting for the part.” I finally broke down and bought a mediocre one at Best Buy because I got a free 360 with it.
I know where you are coming from, but I miss my 4 years of watching all my games on 1 TV.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:27 pm
If I heard Andre Johnson’s voice behind me in dark alley I would piss my pants.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:28 pm
I have Weber St. going 14-2 in conference, but losing a shocker in the Big Sky Championship game to a spry young squad from Portland St. Expect the committee to reward the Vikings with a 15 seed in the West.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:28 pm
Denis Leary’s act never gets old. Never.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:29 pm
My day will not be soporific. Currently debating whether or not I should wait until after lunch to open the first beer. Heading to tailgate in Lawrence about 3:00. Happy College Football Saturday to all.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:30 pm
Denis Leary’s act never gets old. Never.
I liked that act better the first time when Bill Hicks did it.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:30 pm
Giants cut Tyree
September 5th, 2009 at 12:30 pm
probably should have tagged my last post /every advertising executive in Amerca’d
September 5th, 2009 at 12:32 pm
I’m currently debating whether I should open a beer before 10:00am (PST). My California Golden Bears don’t take the field until 7:00pm, so pace will be key today.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:34 pm
Except Leary removes everything good about Bill Hicks and kept the anger and the smoking.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:37 pm
Taguchi – Long live Bill Hicks.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:37 pm
Twenty years from now, some Madison Avenue “genius” will still be hiring Leary to sell Super PoliDent and Life Alert.
But only if Donald Trump isn’t available.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:39 pm
I hope that this OSU/Navy game stays competitive.
Please don’t make me switch to Syracuse or Lane Kiffin.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:42 pm
If you thought Dickie V was over top with his Paulus love…
September 5th, 2009 at 12:44 pm
It’s gonna be a loooooong season for Kiffin
September 5th, 2009 at 12:44 pm
To be fair, Paulus has had approximately .2 seconds to throw before a Minnesota defender is in his grill
September 5th, 2009 at 12:44 pm
Blair White has friggin great hands.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:45 pm
I just switched to the Kiffin game. Still no score. I can already tell I won’t like The Leader taking over the SEC games. I’m in the middle of what seems like a 10-minute Bottom Line crawl telling me which school every ESPN150 and Under Armor All Star Game prospect is considering.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:45 pm
awesome catch. i saw him on campus yesterday, great guy.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:48 pm
Awesome. Dave Revsine is my hero. Let him know about Iowa not showing in the Chicago market and the tech team is on it.
Never knew Twi++er would be so helpful.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:49 pm
I don’t see where Doug Marrone was a great hire. The only notch on his resume was “Sean Payton’s Offensive Coordinator,” which carries about as much weight as Dwight Shrute’s “assistant regional manager” title.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:51 pm
Greg Paulus with his 1st TD.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:52 pm
Paulu throws a TD…Dickie V has an orgasm
September 5th, 2009 at 12:56 pm
OSU scores again. Back to the Lane Kiffin snoozefest.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:57 pm
Dion Sims with his first TD! Can’t wait to see him rip down boards in the Breslin Center as well.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:57 pm
You know who looks like shit early on?
Terrelle Pryor.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:58 pm
Is Versus out of the college football game? All I see is fishing on their schedule.
September 5th, 2009 at 12:59 pm
“Come to PENNNN STATE!!!”
Awesome.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:02 pm
Bryce Brown with the vulture TD for the Vols. Hardesty got them down there though.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:03 pm
no games this week but it looks like they’ll have games most other weeks.

September 5th, 2009 at 1:04 pm
Moterfucking piece of shit ESPN360. Of course when toe meets leather in the game I want to see, I have problems with logging in.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:05 pm
I love Kenny Chesney with all my heart, but that song he is pimping for espn needs to go
September 5th, 2009 at 1:06 pm
Thanks gfunk. Like 25 percent of their games are Ivy League. Maybe they should just keep the fishing shows on instead.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:07 pm
Tennessee is definitely looking a lot better now.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:07 pm
Does not compute.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:09 pm
Finally got in, only to find out Dwyer broke a 74 yard TD run on the first play from scrimmage.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:11 pm
Went on a beer run. What happened to Pryor?
September 5th, 2009 at 1:11 pm
about to pass out because all the gayness.
/not surprised really, jersey went to notre dame. more like notre gayme
September 5th, 2009 at 1:11 pm
Come on man, hes won CMA entertainer of the year like 6 times..
/Can;t believe more people don’t like country
September 5th, 2009 at 1:13 pm
You’re only about 2 hours a way. Take a trip. See how cool we are.
/Secretly sentencing you to death by “we are better than you”- ness
September 5th, 2009 at 1:14 pm
I’ve switched to Pam Ward doing a Syracuse game. I have a football problem.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:16 pm
I love Kenny Chesney with all my heart, JerseyYo.
/Putting this quote away to break out when needed.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:17 pm
what does this mean?
September 5th, 2009 at 1:17 pm
JerseyYo = Peyton Manning?
definitely does not compute
September 5th, 2009 at 1:18 pm
Quite possibly the worst possible way to sell a musical artist to me.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:19 pm
Second only to “dated Tony Romo.”
September 5th, 2009 at 1:20 pm
Kenny Chesney is the shit. All I’m trying to say.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:20 pm
JerseyYo =
Peyton ManningSean Payton?September 5th, 2009 at 1:21 pm
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You don’t like Carrie Underwood?
September 5th, 2009 at 1:21 pm
Speilman just explained it as the backup getting some reps. Kind of weird only up 10 in the 1st half. Maybe Tresselvest is making like one of Pryor’s spirals and wavering.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:22 pm
/More accurate’d
September 5th, 2009 at 1:22 pm
You could’ve made this explanation much shorter and just said… “HE SUCKS”
September 5th, 2009 at 1:23 pm
Does not compute. (I wonder how long this can go on?)
September 5th, 2009 at 1:23 pm
you know what the worst part about liking kenny chesney is? telling your dad you’re gay.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:24 pm
bravo.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:24 pm
One thing I like about 360 I don’t have to hear Wendy Nix’s break ins telling me that Ohio State is destroying some poor service academy
September 5th, 2009 at 1:24 pm
JerseyYo, I’ll take your back (kinda):
Kenny Chesney >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Coming to Your CITTTTTTTTAAAAAAYYYYYYY!
September 5th, 2009 at 1:25 pm
I thought the whole point of country music was to prove you were not only straight but quite capable of beating someone to death for not being so.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:26 pm
I personally like country music, but Kenny Chesney is to country music as The Beatles were to rock.
/they’re both pop
//spencer’d
September 5th, 2009 at 1:27 pm
Seriously guys, Chesney is the shit.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:27 pm
mrejr and tst, best comments evar. fucking hilarious.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:28 pm
ESPN’s so meta…they have a commercial complaining about how hard it was covering the Favre retirement saga when they (and Peter King) were the ones that created the entire thing.
/Jay’d
September 5th, 2009 at 1:28 pm
+eleventy but no. the point of country music is to make committing suicide easier when your life turns out like 90% of country songs and your wife/husband(in jersey’s case) leaves you, your dog dies, your pickup truck stops working and you farm/oil field job goes under.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:29 pm
As someone who listens to country on extremely rare occasions, Kenny Chesney is what you get if Jimmy Buffett and Dolly Parton had a love child.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:30 pm
I missed that one, tallguy. I’m slipping.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:30 pm
You left out mama, trains, and gettin’ drunk.
/David Allen Coe’d
September 5th, 2009 at 1:30 pm
i think it is funny that gay guys refer to other dude as tail
September 5th, 2009 at 1:31 pm
Perhaps I should give this Chesney fellow a chance after all. Sounds like I’d like the cut of his jib.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Another touchdown for Dwyer. He doesn’t suck.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Ok, take this with a slight grain of salt, but damn Paulus looks awesome for someone that hasn’t picked up a football in 4 years.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Mrejr, I have no clue what gay guys refer to other dudes as. I know you are just dying to enlighten me though.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:33 pm
I thought that was kinda obvious from last year when he averaged 51461536 yards per carry.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:33 pm
On a related note I wish Taylor Swift would die, to the point that if she deigned to have sex with me I would at least briefly consider not doing it, such is the pain her music has caused me.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:35 pm
Holy Fuck… Paulus is not sucking right now!!!
September 5th, 2009 at 1:35 pm
Lol I was trying to be subtle/modest.
I won’t go so far as to wish death, but I’ll admit I don’t understand the fascination with her. The music isn’t that good, and she’s not as good looking as everyone makes her out to be.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:36 pm
Kenny Chesney is referred to as a country artist, so I assume gay guys are always whispering to each other “hey, look at that country artist that just walked in!”
September 5th, 2009 at 1:37 pm
Vegas does not set lines for matchups between the Bowl Subdivision versus the lower Championship Subdivision. Why I don’t know, but that’s the way it is Duffy.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:37 pm
I don’t think you should refer to the BYU/Oklahoma game as the “Cowboys Classic,” when the first ever game of the “Classic” hasn’t even been played yet.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:39 pm
Dear Minnesota,
Get fucked.
Sincerely,
Everybody that banged you -7 against Syracuse.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:40 pm
Lot of hate for Kenny in this room today. I can’t even begin to understand.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:42 pm
This is true, which is why Stanford over USC, not App State over Michigan is considered the biggest upset ever in Vegas. I’d assume they don’t set a line because there’s no way to really get an accurate line when dealing with spreads that large.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:43 pm
Woohoo! The All Americans came to play today on the flats. 2 TDs for Dwyer and an INT for Morgan Burnett.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:43 pm
Jersey, some people may not “hate” Kenny Chesney. But they do hate country music, and hate the prospect of hearing that song 1,340,238,432 times between now and January.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:44 pm
a Notre Dame graduate can’t understand something that simple? color me shocked.
/why am i being such a prick today?
September 5th, 2009 at 1:46 pm
I don’t know, but you’ve changed. And it’s killing me!!
/Runs away crying
September 5th, 2009 at 1:46 pm
See me first quote involving Chesney. I knoowwww this song sucks. I am doubly mad that its KC singing it.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:47 pm
Lover’s quarrel?
/dirtheavy
September 5th, 2009 at 1:48 pm
Kenny Chesney is hot garbage, and I even like some country music
September 5th, 2009 at 1:49 pm
I just can’t stand the vocal style of 99% of country singers. Take Tuesday’s Gone by Lynrd Skynrd. That’s basically a country song, but it sounds awesome because Ronnie Van Zant doesn’t sing like an asshole.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:52 pm
Word. I much prefer the southern rockish country to the Shania Twain style crap. That said, so-called “outlaw” country is probably my favorite of the genre.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:53 pm
Jersey, you ought to know it is very, very bad luck for our Fighting Irish to have Kool-Aid type expectations for the season even with this schedule. But then again, you did not go to school there when the team was a contender for the national championship, so you might not know.
Quit drinking the Kool-Aid and play it cool this early instead please. And turn off the Lou Holtz too for that matter though otherwise he’s fantastic.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:55 pm
Maybe Greg Paulus should have been playing football the last 4 years. I am shocked at how well he’s throwing the ball. Doesn’t hurt that SU has the best reciever in the Big East. Which is like saying you are the skinniest kid at fat camp.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:57 pm
Touchdown IOWA!!!
September 5th, 2009 at 1:58 pm
Considering how weak the Big East is from year to year, and the way teams like USF and Cincy have been able to come from out of nowhere to contend, it could be a very interesting season for SU. And yes, if he keeps this up for the rest of the season, the guy is an absolute moron for not taking a D-1 football scholarship.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:59 pm
rs, you happy he came now, after 1 half?
September 5th, 2009 at 1:59 pm
+1
And artists like Steve Earle and Drive-by Truckers do not suck. Not by a longshot.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:59 pm
Paolo. Shut the fuck up. I graduated in 2007 and u wear leather jackets like a little bitch.
Sincerely,
Jersey
ND ‘07
September 5th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
Bay Bay Thomas is a fucking beast. And he deserves mad props for staying as a WR when Paul Johnson brought in his spread based triple option (take that, Big Brain on Brett).
September 5th, 2009 at 2:01 pm
I dig some Cross Canadian Ragweed and Eli Young. Shit, Pat Green was my first concert.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:02 pm
new threads.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:02 pm
If he wins games yes, if not then its a waste because he’s stunting the growth of any other QB on the roster that can be there for 2 or 3 years. But the other QBs must be awful for a kid to come in after 5 years off and win the job from them. We’ll see if they hold on to this game.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:03 pm
If he did, he would have been at Notre Dame.
/Tries to figure out what life would have been like
September 5th, 2009 at 2:03 pm
I love when Navy fakes the triple option and has Dobbs drop back.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:03 pm
[throws leather jacket in garbage immediately] shit i kinda liked my leather jacket. now im cold.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:04 pm

September 5th, 2009 at 2:04 pm

/of course he does

Paulus>>>>McNabb??? I mean, Paulus hasn’t puked yet right?
September 5th, 2009 at 2:15 pm
Mcnabb and Vick are BFF! He just said so! It must be true.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:18 pm
Paulus sucks. McNabb has no receivers.
/MSM’d
September 5th, 2009 at 2:19 pm
What about toy dog fighting? You have to admit you’d be intrigued by a fight between a Boston Terrier and a Pug.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:23 pm
First flop of the season! Yes! Paulus coming through in the clutch.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:23 pm
Now that he’s on your team, you love it, right?
September 5th, 2009 at 2:25 pm
Well when it’s football and not basketball, yes.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:26 pm
Boston Terriers in a landslide. They were bred as fighting dogs
September 5th, 2009 at 2:26 pm
Is Iowa gonna lose? Also, it’s nice to have Tarrant able to play finally. Punt return for a TD.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:27 pm
@lefty – Go stick a sharp knife in your anal cavity.
Worst. Holding call. EVAR.
We had a touchdown there. We’re going to win. But… it’s going to be a 7 or less win. GO HAWKS!!
September 5th, 2009 at 2:27 pm
Is McNabb done yet? Navy just fumbled. I’m through with this game again.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:32 pm
Tony Moeaki! Touchdown Iowa!
September 5th, 2009 at 2:33 pm
McNabb in the booth. An ex-Duke player at quarterback. Endless tales of that “colorful” coach from the Bronx coming home.
/today’s game brought to you by the Syracuse Athletic Department

September 5th, 2009 at 2:38 pm
Damn, what a drop
September 5th, 2009 at 2:38 pm
I don’t hate Syracuse, not in the least, but I do hate the Syracuse homerism at The Leader.
I think a lot of their people forget that we all didn’t go there.

/feels bad being B10 fan
//anything to shut OSU fans up
September 5th, 2009 at 2:49 pm
Pam Ward is awful, Syracuse just forced and recovered a fumble and she didn’t mention it once. Great announcing!
September 5th, 2009 at 2:50 pm
Navy’s not dead yet…
September 5th, 2009 at 2:50 pm
THe Midshipmen will not go down quietly! INT Navy. 21-29!
September 5th, 2009 at 2:51 pm
Here comes Navy. Jesus, nice job OSU.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:53 pm
Navy TD, Northern Iowa driving..The Big 10 never disappoints!
September 5th, 2009 at 2:55 pm

/fuck OSU
//seriously though guys, we’re trying to have a conference here, how about you dont choke this away
September 5th, 2009 at 2:55 pm
oh noooo navy!!!!!
September 5th, 2009 at 2:56 pm
So is Ohio State going to go like 6-6 this year? Granted Navy is better than any team they’ll face in conference.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:56 pm
“This is where legends are made, Terrell”
Yeah, legends are made against Navy
/in the 50’s
//OSU sucks
September 5th, 2009 at 2:56 pm

September 5th, 2009 at 2:57 pm
What a terrible call….The middle was wide open too dude should have ran.
September 5th, 2009 at 2:57 pm

17-16. UNI just hit a FG. Surprised no onside kick. Iowa has ball at the 29. Can’t believe we’re getting pressured by UNI…
/Stanzi’s confidence drive right here
September 5th, 2009 at 3:04 pm
WOW. Hawks forced to punt. 2:23 to play. UNI getting the ball back.
/Beam in full effect
//please win Hawks
September 5th, 2009 at 3:05 pm
The Minnesota kicker just kicked a 38 yard field goal. Problem is it was a 47 yard attempt.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:06 pm
Not a game I wanted the pressure on. Suppose it’s best to get this out of the way now?
/nervous
//dead serious
September 5th, 2009 at 3:08 pm
Here comes Northern Iowa!
September 5th, 2009 at 3:08 pm
nicely done
September 5th, 2009 at 3:09 pm
Hawk turnover, right here.
/ONE TIME!
September 5th, 2009 at 3:10 pm
What the hell is Iowa doing? Rushing 3 guys?
September 5th, 2009 at 3:11 pm
Is Greg Paulus, Ray Bentley’s son? This is sickening. We get it Ray. You love him.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:12 pm
They’re technically in FG range. I’m gonna break something shortly if they kick one.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:13 pm
360 is delayed, but damn, did they just show a replay of Paulus calling a timeout?
September 5th, 2009 at 3:14 pm
That was all I was saying, rs27. Watching this game is like watching a golf tournament when Tiger Woods is in contention.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:15 pm
Gonna come down to a field goal….
/buries head in ground
September 5th, 2009 at 3:15 pm
Yes, Ray Bentley called it the best play of the game. I’m not kidding.
Jay- You were right.
UNI was too conservative here, long FG attempt. Should have spiked on that 1st down get 5-6 more yards call TO.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:16 pm
BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!! BLOCKED!!!

September 5th, 2009 at 3:17 pm
Well, the BigTen are surviving by the skin of their teeth.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:17 pm
Fuck you.
/Penn State Fans
Big 10 having some scares today, but surviving.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:17 pm
Holy Smokes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 5th, 2009 at 3:21 pm
This FG call is BULLSHIT
September 5th, 2009 at 3:22 pm
IS this ruling right? Clock should have still been running and game over then because UNI didn’t get a 1st down or get out of bounds.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:22 pm
SC: what’s going on? does UNI get to kick it again?
September 5th, 2009 at 3:23 pm
And Purdue
/fair and balanced
September 5th, 2009 at 3:23 pm
If UNI makes this kick, these officials will never make it to the parking lot.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:23 pm
HOLY CRAP! UNI GETS ANOTHER SHOT!
September 5th, 2009 at 3:24 pm
hilarious.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:24 pm
Dude can’t kick…..Sorry.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:25 pm
See comment 188. I need a drink.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:26 pm
Wow I know it’s Western Kentucky, but fuck, 63 points is a lot. Guess Lane ain’t fuckin’ around.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:27 pm
While ESPN is busy deifying Paulus……
Minnesota’s QB is leading his team on a 90-yard game winning drive.
/not rubbing it in, rs27
//not a done deal yet, but just sayin’
September 5th, 2009 at 3:28 pm
Jay: Adam Weber is hot garbage though
/still say Decker should have signed with the Twins
September 5th, 2009 at 3:28 pm
28 4th quarter points in a game that was already out of reach. I’m not surprised.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:29 pm
Greg Paulus knows a bit about overtime.
/Thank you! I’ll be here all afternoon.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:29 pm
Alright Paulus this is what you came to Syracuse for… to beat Minnesota.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:29 pm
Paulus will get his chance to be the hero………….
ESPN may name him the early Heisman favorite if he can pull this off.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:30 pm
GIMME AN “I”!!!
September 5th, 2009 at 3:31 pm
Let’s be honest…one guy is a 3 year starter, the other hasn’t touched a football in 5 years. The fact that Paulus has been the better qb for the game is fucking sad for the Big 10.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:31 pm
Wait you’re saying he’s not already? He throws an awesome 5 yard slant.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:34 pm
By the way this game took nearly 4 hours to play in regulation. Where’s the post about shortening football games?
September 5th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
DAMMIT!!! I’m getting Baylor and motherfucking Wake Forest instead of UGA and Okie State.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:39 pm
That still makes it 4 hours a week, 4 weeks a month 4 months a year…Plus it’s Football!!
We Love Football.
September 5th, 2009 at 3:40 pm
Well that was fun. Paulus nice run. You stink.
