September 18th, 2009 at 8:10 AM
MSU, i recommend pizza or fast foot. if you go to mcdonald’s, have a mcgriddle on me.
flush it all with buckets of water
September 18th, 2009 at 8:11 AM
@MSUSPARTAN: Are you ready to be sacrificed tomorrow?
September 18th, 2009 at 8:11 AM
Water is going down right now. Got class soon, mother on the way. Worst day EVAR.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:13 AM
Jersey, yes. I hope Kirk throws for 300 and 4 td’s. Just to outshine your joke of a QB.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:13 AM
drink a gallon of room temperature water. it will go down easier. chug the shit out of it

September 18th, 2009 at 8:17 AM
TBL, what is fast foot?
September 18th, 2009 at 8:18 AM
Terribly sad story about the High School football player dying during a practice. I’m not sure if the coach was guilty of anything but the coaching staff in general didn’t handle things very well.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:18 AM
If i didn’t have to fucking work I’d be right there at the 50 yard line in South Bend. Go fucking Green.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:18 AM

he was found not guilty. i didnt follow the case and i didnt know it was going on until yesterday. seems like the public crucify coaches for stuff like that happening so im sure it was clear that he had no wrong doing if they found him not guilty. i dont know.

The best thing for a hangover is sleep and then greasy food, I prefer a huge gyro with some potatoes but to each his own
September 18th, 2009 at 8:20 AM
bsanders- sure you heard about gonzalez? heard about it this morning myself
September 18th, 2009 at 8:21 AM
Jerseys really are a poor investment. At least that’s what the Marvin Harrison, Edge James, Marshall Faulk and Jim Harbaugh in my closet tell me.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:21 AM
The Miami woopin made it easier to catch the ‘Always Sunny…’ premiere. Funniest show on tv, plus animated show after it – ‘Archer,’ had its moments too.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:21 AM
<blockquote prefer a huge gyro my hometown has THE best gyros EVAR!! no joke either. fucking amazing.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:22 AM
well you have at least 2 HOF jerseys. maybe 3
September 18th, 2009 at 8:22 AM
as do the jason sehorn, jeremy shockey and charles way tell me.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:23 AM
Clausen will light up that weak MSU secondary… Clausen will hold a lot ND passing records before he is done. (Assuming he stays for his senior year)
September 18th, 2009 at 8:23 AM
read an interesting article a fwe months ago, can’t remember where so this is just heresay, but a lot of experts are saying the reason kids and adults have been suffering from heat related deaths in football training camps is the fact people spend more time in AC and less time outdoors leading up to the training camp.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:23 AM
<blockquoteJerseys really are a poor investment. I have 15 soccer jerseys. Only people still on the team i have is my England National team jerseys. Which is 3. Waste of money.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:24 AM
bsanders-what i tell myself is that they are officially throwbacks.
by no means do i think we shut ND down, it will be a high scoring game. NDs defense is horrible.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:24 AM
Ive got a Boomer Esiason jersey. Works well, since he cant leave via free agency at this point.
REALLY hoping Sparty and Louisville win tomorrow. Also, its not gonna happen, but I’d love it if Lane Kiffin gave florida a great big shit burger to eat on
September 18th, 2009 at 8:24 AM
I’m assuming you have a peyton manning, so maybe 4. And that peyton jersey is gonna be worth some bucks in about 30-40 years.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:25 AM
wtf is going on with my quotes. i can not get used to this new comp.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:25 AM
well yeah. we hear about people dying of heat up north when its much hotter up here.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:26 AM
that’s interesting. i wonder if anyone has done a study to see if it has anything to do with the pesticides on foods and hormones they inject into chickens and whatnot.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:28 AM
I have 15 soccer jerseys.

September 18th, 2009 at 8:28 AM
He’s probably out until their bye week. And Edge James better damn well make the hall of fame. If fuckin’ Lynn Swaynn is in the hall of fame…
September 18th, 2009 at 8:28 AM
Yeah… or if they just don’t get enough water during camp.

anyone remember me casually mentioning an ESPN intern who was the talk of bristol? i dropped it in a post … could have made a bigger deal out of it due to some stuff i’ve heard, but i passed. well, she’s on twitter. lives up to the hype. if anyone is friends with her on facebook, i bet i could guess a few noted people she’s, ahem, pictured with …

i don’t know. maybe it is just because of mass media outlets and the internet, but I don’t remember hearing about deaths like this 15 years ago.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:30 AM
As well as the record for most losses as a starter, congrats Cutler.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:31 AM
Did that intern go to Auburn? Why else would she be listed as a fan of Jerraud Powers? I mean, he looks awesome for a third-round pick and I’m pleased as punch the Colts drafted him, but WTF? I’m just assuming she went to Auburn.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:32 AM

September 18th, 2009 at 8:34 AM
Georgia Tech’s horrible secondary? Try Georgia Tech’s horrible defense

had to cut a deal with my fiance this year. Saturdays we do whatever she wants, no complaining from me, as long as sundays, and the occasional mondays (whichever day the pats play) are mine.

yeah, as if prisoners deserve world-class treatment
that’s a tricky subject. 23 hours of darkness and lonliness on a consistent basis will make anybody go crazy. They don’t deserve world class treatment, but we obviously have not yet figured out a suitable punishment. Solitary confinement (while at first glance seems like a great punishment), causes more problems than it solves.

is it me, or does it seem like he faded really quickly?
I was surprised that he could afford an $8 million pad. He was a good corner but still.
September 18th, 2009 at 9:06 AM
Unemployed cornerback Chris McAllister has listed his palace in Los Angeles for $7.9 million.
That house is really ugly. He played for 10 years. There are some pretty suspect corners that have stuck around longer than 10 years. There’s obviously something wrong with him, or somebody (the Saints) would have picked him up, right?
September 18th, 2009 at 9:08 AM
I was surprised that he could afford an $8 million pad.
I think he can’t. That’s why he’s selling it.
September 18th, 2009 at 9:09 AM
dirt- but he barely played his first 2. he then had 6 seasons where it seemed like he was one of the better corners in the game. then i guess the last couple he battled injuries.
September 18th, 2009 at 9:10 AM

dirt- but he barely played his first 2. he then had 6 seasons where it seemed like he was one of the better corners in the game. then i guess the last couple he battled injuries.
He was the best corner playing, for at least one of those seasons. I don’t know what happened, but I know Shawn Springs is still working, and Quentin Jammer is still working, and I also know there are teams with awful corners (chicago) that could use him if he had it.
I agree that it’s strange.

Tyler Hansbrough has his own commercial??? Really? LOL.
Floyd had a point when he was talking about race. If a player of Tyler Hansbrough’s ability was black he would not have his own national commercial prior to his first game. Does Hansbrough have any personality?
Kid Cudi fan here too.
September 18th, 2009 at 11:50 AM
Is that Hansbrough commercial national? Because it seems kind of esoteric. The locations it is filmed are all Chapel Hill landmarks, but not that anyone who didn’t spend a lot of time in Chapel Hill would recognize.
And of course he has a commercial. He is incredibly recognizable, at least they had the foresight not to have him talk. He comes across lie he can’t act even with out words.
