Sergio Kindle Crashed Into A Quarterback, Texas Won
College Football September 20th. 2009, 10:57amGet it? Because he crashed a car into a house this summer.
The guy that got his head squished, Taylor Potts, threw for 420Â yards and 3 scores, connecting on 46 of 62 pass attempts. That’s a lot of throws. Colt McCoy was less impressive throwing for 205 yards and 2 picks. Texas did get the win though. Some people consider this a revenge game for Texas Tech dashing the Longhorns’ title hopes last year.

Grow up, CRM.

That YPA sucks my ascot. But damn, was that a sweet hit, couldn’t really tell how good it was until they replayed it.

City – This is a tough call. Umm……. uh…. Steve Smith. I’m so hesitant about that.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:26 AM
I’d go with Smith, too. Should get a ton of checkdowns. I could see him having 7 catches for 45 yards in the JerraCasa.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:27 AM
Was that not helmet to helmet?
September 20th, 2009 at 11:27 AM
This just in: polls suck.
And why do I have this sneaking suspicion that the Saints are going to let me down against Kevin Kolb and the Eagles today? I hope I’m just paranoid. But I went 12-4 last week against the spread in my pick challenge, basically by going against the grain on all the hot trends.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:27 AM
For some reason I absolutely despise PPR rules.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:27 AM
I’ve been looking for the video all morning, but can’t find it. The hit that Cal put on Minnesota WR Eric Decker yesterday was insane. Guy was bleeding all over but held on for a TD.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:28 AM
Penn State is a fraud and will lose at least twice this year, OLine is terrible, Temple got consistent pressure.
Tex/Fla/OU are all far less explosive on offense than last year, QB’s are the same overrated players, guys blocking and catching aren’t nearly as good.
Shut up MWC, just shut the hell up.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:28 AM
Is the sky blue?
Same here. It’s on par with IDP leagues.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:29 AM
Here’s a question: am I crazy to start Cotchery ahead of Bowe in a ppr league?
September 20th, 2009 at 11:29 AM
But damn, was that a sweet hit, couldn’t really tell how good it was until they replayed it.
I don’t think his helmet was buckled very tight. It was a nice, ultra precise hit. My two problems are both with Tech. #1: How do you not see a guy coming from your front side if you’re that QB, and #2: What the fuck kind of right tackle play is that? Kindle was nearly untouched on his way to that QB.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:30 AM
me too
September 20th, 2009 at 11:30 AM
Because the first one somehow nabbed moderation… anyone see the hit on Eric Decker yesterday in the MIN/CAL game?
September 20th, 2009 at 11:32 AM
i’ll have some real strong views on college football come monday. this carroll bashing, lane stroking business is out of control.
ok, as for the NFL … pats only down to 3 point faves … Vegas suckering people in…
September 20th, 2009 at 11:34 AM
I’m rooting for a 0-0 tie, myself.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:34 AM
I like ppr leagues…more strategy than your normal run of the mill leagues. Though I am pissed at my ppr league this year because the commish caved in to people and set QB scores to 6 points. Brees is a fucking beast…
September 20th, 2009 at 11:36 AM
I gotta give Steelers fans a ton of credit. They travel like no other professional fanbase. There were more Steeler fans in Chicago bars yesterday than college football people. It was out of control.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:37 AM
But the tressel bashing is A-Ok!
September 20th, 2009 at 11:37 AM
if a qb throws for almost 400 yds and 2 touchdowns he should outpoint a wr who catchs 10 balls for 140 yds with no touchdowns.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:41 AM
I just don’t understand why catches, in and of themselves, are rewarded as something productive. A 2 yard catch is not more valuable than a 9 yard run, but in PPR it’s treated as such (assuming 1 point per catch). Rewarding points for catches makes about just as much sense as rewarding points for carries.

Bears are only 1 point dogs at home to steelers!
8 games this wknd in nfl have spreads of 3 or less. who’s ready to lose some $?
September 20th, 2009 at 11:43 AM
Per TBL, losing to dogshit opponents is not as bad as losing to top 5 teams.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:43 AM
Donald Brown, Leon Washington, Felix Jones or Steve Smith (NYG)?
You gotta start Leon Washington. Essentially splitting carries 50/50 with Thomas Jones and you did see what Fred Jackson did to NE last Sunday right? Start Leon.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:45 AM
Good luck today, NDub. Nate Robertson going today right? I don’t like our chances seeing as our 3 best hitters are lefties. Plus Scott Baker is going, and he has a 4.35 ERA this year. Yuck.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:45 AM
Anytime you can get…
Hou +19.5
NE +9.5
GB +4
Min +3
The odds gotta be in your favor right?
September 20th, 2009 at 11:45 AM

usc didnt have their red shirt frosh so its kewl
September 20th, 2009 at 11:46 AM
I have Bears as 3 point dogs at home. In fact, I love all the home underdog lines. Even the Lions at +10.5 against the Vikes. I must just bet all of those and put down like a $2 parlay on all of them too.
Really like the home dogs this week.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:46 AM
Welker out…… Fuck
September 20th, 2009 at 11:46 AM
It’s just an attempt to break the rb dominance of fantasy, something that I like. Plus, again, it changes things up strategywise, allowing drafts to unfold in unusual ways. I do hate IDP though. Defenses should be see and not heard in ff.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:47 AM
Wait, Minnesota is laying points to Detroit? Are you kidding me?
September 20th, 2009 at 11:49 AM
well shit. I mad the decision to start hightower at the flex instead of steve smith, lendale white, michael clayton, and michael jenkins. Im at work so my thursday decision is going to have to stand.
im praying for a repeat performance since it seems like the offense is struggling
September 20th, 2009 at 11:49 AM
Looks like a 12 point teaser.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:50 AM
Wait, Minnesota is laying points to Detroit? Are you kidding me?
that’s teased all to hell.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:51 AM
Fantasy talk, ugg, kill me.
I find the Carroll/Tressel situations extremely interesting. Tressell is all business all the time, his teams are focused and ready to play, but sometimes this strict nature rears its ugly head in big games he tries to control everything and everyone and the players are tight.
Carroll on the other hand is totally awesome and everything should be fun and his teams are loose and jumping up and down on the sidelines and everyone is free to be themselves. This keeps them loose for big games but it allows them to be lazy and unfocused for the little games.
I find the two opposite approaches and their results quite fascinating.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:51 AM
13 point teaser, gotta love it…
September 20th, 2009 at 11:55 AM
I disagree–especially when you go up against some guy like Frank Gore the week he catches 8 passes for 26 yards. It makes his value go through the roof.
September 20th, 2009 at 11:57 AM
Hit return too early. In a PPR league, those 26 receiving yards are more valuable than the 95 he got on the ground.
September 20th, 2009 at 12:46 PM
I’m calling a sweep, fetch. After last night, I’m sofuckingpissed at this team. I drank out of anger til 2 a.m. Am feeling it today. Why do I pick Sundays as laundry day? FML.
September 20th, 2009 at 1:00 PM
Yes, Nate Robertson is starting.
