rachel-stevens-calendar-2010-06One recommendation for tonight – watch or DVR Anvil: The Story of Anvil on VH1 at 10pm. I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ve got the DVR set and have heard nothing but great things about this movie. H/T on that one goes to Nug.

This is Rachel Stevens. The picture is from her upcoming 2010 calender. If you enjoy what you see here, feel free to check out the other months.

Thursday I was sitting around watching television when Tomcats came on. I decided to support site friend Jerry O’Connell and give it a full watch for the second time. (I think I saw it when it originally came out on DVD towards the beginning of the decade.)

Anyway, my roommate and I are sitting there laughing uproariously when Leaving Town came on. Talk about a blast from the past. I couldn’t believe I remembered the name of this band. After doing some research I found out they had released 3 albums – 2 original albums and a “Best Of” compilation. Honestly, there’s got to be a rule.

And here’s their Twitter. Feel free to support them.
