Tim Tebow’s Gonna Play (Supposedly)
ESPN, Fans, Tim Tebow October 10th. 2009, 10:45am
Urban Meyer was wishy-washy with ESPN about 40 minutes ago regarding Tim Tebow’s status, but Florida Today reports that the Gators’ QB will play some tonight at LSU. The paper says Tebow will not be his same battering ram self.
A little of the 2007 Gators, perhaps? With John Brantley playing the part of Chris Leak? Anyway, nice sign there in the bottom right corner of the screen.

So he’s gonna stay in the pocket? Good plan, Urban.

I hope he’s 100% healthy. If he doesn’t play and Florida loses the voters will be sympathetic. As long as they still win the SEC championship game they will get in the NT game if they were to lose today.

Breaking news scroll on the bottomline says Tebow will play if he passes medical tests before the game. He won’t take them until the team arrives at the stadium.
Basically sounds like we’re not gonna get an answer until about 5 p.m.

Florida wins without him anyway.

I agree Sparty, how is LSU going to score against that defense? Even more reason why he shouldn’t play if he’s not 100%, just no reward.

he will play 9 of 10 offensive snaps

That guy probably thinks his sign is SO FUNNY!

if they are down to seeing if he gets medical clearance at gametime, why are they playing him at all? Can’t you become predisposed to getting additional ones easier once you’ve had one? I’d give him one more week.
October 10th, 2009 at 11:10 AM
Why the fuck would they play him if he can’t go 100%? This is fucking stupid if true. Either he can play at full speed or he doesn’t play. THis is not a bum ankle, this is his brain being fucked up.
October 10th, 2009 at 11:10 AM
I wont believe it until its reported by either Herbie or sparty.

I really like Ohio, but statements like this don’t really endear them to the national public.

Big weekend down here. It’s the Columbus Day Regatta boat extravaganza (it’s been featured on that Tru-TV show). My wife and I went about 5-6 years ago w/ friends who had a boat. Unbelievable. Lots of clothes-less people running around
