Tim Tebow Brushes Off the Media After Another Weak Performance
1-liner, College Football October 26th. 2009, 4:15pmTim Tebow: Against SEC bottom feeder Mississippi State Saturday, Tim Tebow was a pedestrian 12-for-22 for 127 yards with two interceptions, both of which were returned for touchdowns. Following that clunker, Tebow blew off the media that loves him so. That is not how you win the Heisman, Timmy! Trend alert – QBs who stuck around a year longer than they should have are struggling. Colt McCoy’s stats are down. Sam Bradford twice injured his shoulder. Tim Tebow’s struggling. Texas and Florida are still unbeaten … for now. Hope Jake Locker and Jimmy Clausen have noticed. Jimmy Clausen has the douche of the year award all wrapped up. He has no need for your Heisman hype, TBL.

Hope Jake Locker and Jimmy Clausen have noticed
they have. I believe there as good as gone.
CJ Spiller = Heisman?

Did he shake hands?

If I were Urban I would tell Timmay to dive head-first in the knee-deep poon he could be slaying to take his mind off of the season for a bit. Knowing their freaky relationship I would not be shocked if Urban acts as Tebow’s personal fluffer.

That guy from Houston is pretty good.
October 26th, 2009 at 4:19 PM
Worse, Tebow pulled a Jeff Reed and completely quit on both returns when he could have made the tackle.
October 26th, 2009 at 4:21 PM
aaawww. baby jesus had a bad game.
October 26th, 2009 at 4:21 PM
HOW DARE YOU CRITICIZE HIS ELEGANCY!?!!?!?
October 26th, 2009 at 4:21 PM
Christian Ponder > Jake Locker
Just because UW beat USC that doesn’t make Locker He-Man.
October 26th, 2009 at 4:23 PM
serious question: though he plays for a miserable team, is christian ponder the best quarterback in the state of florida?
i don’t exactly agree but the kid is having a nice season.
October 26th, 2009 at 4:24 PM
Jeff Reed?
/snickers
October 26th, 2009 at 4:24 PM
you forgot to include reggie mckenzie as well.
i would call him gutless but that wouldn’t be quite accurate.
October 26th, 2009 at 4:24 PM
it’d be nice if tebow could use the excuse that he came back to school and had fun pulling down all the fine florida puss……but noooooo, he had a shitty year of football. damnit Tebow, i hate you and have no reason too.

Mississippi State bottom feeder? They gave LSU a near stroke. If their offense was only slightly better, they probably convert that last TD against the Tigers and LSU is upset. And with a better offense, they probably control the ball a little better and keep Tebow off the field more. Not saying that translates into a win, but the game would probably have been closer.
So they took on two of the premiere programs of the SEC and should have won one of them and only ran out of gas in the 3rd quarter against the other. Let’s give them a measure of respect.

jacory harris?
October 26th, 2009 at 4:25 PM
is christian ponder the best quarterback in the state of florida?
Ray Lewis III
October 26th, 2009 at 4:26 PM
that was my first thought. one could make an argument harris and ponder are having better individual seasons than baby jesus.

if you ask me, kid is not nearly the same kid a year ago, or the year before that. i think he has grown up a lot.
this team is going somewhere. Croom left Mullen with nothing on offense. i am not saying they are going to be winning the SEC Title anytime soon, but they will be a tough out.
October 26th, 2009 at 4:28 PM
Ponder is better right now.

Jake Locker would do well to come back for one more season.
October 26th, 2009 at 4:34 PM
The only reason they are playing those games close is because they are in the offensive wasteland that is the SEC.
/no respect given
October 26th, 2009 at 4:34 PM
Jake Locker would do well for himself to focus primarily on baseball
October 26th, 2009 at 4:37 PM
This doesn’t apply to Tebow. He won’t enter the draft as a QB.

So I am not the only one who notices the creepy relationship between Urban and Tebow. I think it was last weeks game that Urban walked up to Tebow at one point and nuzzled his face up against Tebow’s facemask like an Eskimo kiss. My husband and I were totally creeped out by that.
October 26th, 2009 at 4:39 PM
oh, it’s creepy as fuck.
October 26th, 2009 at 4:40 PM
guinessgirl that was the LSU game. It was a lotta gay.
October 26th, 2009 at 4:43 PM
I hope the NFL has noticed that Locker is not a good QB, he’s barely average.
October 26th, 2009 at 5:02 PM
Christian Ponder is definitely having a better year than Harris, and I’m a Canes fan as well. Ponder can play. Straight up. He’s a stud.
As for Tebow, he’s not the same player without Percy Harvin. Plain and simple. He’s still a standout college football player, but he’s not as good of a QB. Harvin was a difference maker.
October 26th, 2009 at 5:04 PM
No doubt about it. This is common knowledge amongst SEC fans. I’m fully convinced Urban Meyer has a picture of Tebow on his hope chest and puts on makeup and lipstick while he blows it kisses before bed.

Thad Lewis>>>>Ponder
October 26th, 2009 at 5:18 PM
as was mention on espn’s big ten blog, Pryor has gotten a ton of criticism but has faced the media after every game. maybe Tebow is too much of a fragile flower for the NFL?

No one outside of SEC country, the mainstream media who love him for ratings, and the BCS cronies and their computer has been able to explain clearly to me how in the world Alabama and Florida are better than Texas right now by ANY measure with regard to their actual play on the gridiron. USC, Oregon, Cincinnati, and TCU are playing better than both of them now for that matter.
Looks like I will be passing on most of the college postseason instead of wasting time on another lame Rose Bowl and BCS championship rigged for the winner of an undefeated Florida and Alabama as one participant irrespective of the play of other undefeated teams. Even so, both those teams have a tougher schedule otherwise than does Texas.
