Larry Johnson is Angry at the “Faggot” Reporters Standing Next to His Locker
NFL October 27th. 2009, 10:15am
Larry Johnson, the once-promising running back on the Chiefs by way of Penn State, remains unhappy in the heartland. His production has cratered in the last few years, and Sunday’s brutal home loss to the Chargers set him off. There was the twitter meltdown. When reporters attempted to question Johnson about it Monday, they were met with this response: “Get your faggot ass out of here.” The Chiefs have a bye Sunday, so the KC media has two weeks to run him out of town. Here’s Whitlock: “… a football player mumbling the F-word inside a locker room is about as surprising as … an ESPN personality sexting with an intern.” [KC Star]

LOL yeah, the brutal, hard-ass kansas city media.

Didn’t even know this guy was still in the league. Darrell’s favorite coach ruined his career, but fuck him.

At least he didn’t spit in their faces.

His pops is the man, I wonder what the fuck happened to Larry to make him such a douche… playing in KC?

October 27th, 2009 at 10:23 AM
Nice use of a slur, Larry.
October 27th, 2009 at 10:24 AM
He’s such a POS, and like sponge says his dad seems like a pretty good guy, dont get how he ended up so messed up. The only thing I can figure is growing up in the State College hood made him hard.
October 27th, 2009 at 10:25 AM
Kansas City’s not a bad city and Arrowhead (along with Lambeau) is the best Sunday environment there is. The guy’s just a turd.
October 27th, 2009 at 10:27 AM
LJ’s dad played for the coach from “rememeber the titans”. Fucking Denzel, man!

October 27th, 2009 at 10:30 AM
Any one see Chris Rocks set on the use of “faggot”? Larry might have taken it too seriously. But those reporters might have been acting like some foggots.

October 27th, 2009 at 10:40 AM
Agreed. Camarohead is a pretty good spot to be on Sunday’s.
October 27th, 2009 at 10:41 AM
Great line by Whitlock. Note that the mainstream media would be too pussy to utter that simple truth with regard to real locker room talk not to mention of course having their jobs at stake because they have some faggot or lesbo boss more than anything else. Or some metrosexual type with a beard who doth protesteth too much for sake of the gays because at some point he probably sucked one or took it up the ass.

I meant in the sense that the team has been horrible. They made the playoffs once while LJ has been there right?

I think Wilbon said it on PTI yesterday. Larry Johnson got used up real fast and real early in his career and now he is mad. I think LJ had what 400 something carries a couple of years. Kind of sad.
October 27th, 2009 at 10:52 AM
Just like many WR’s are wasted on bad QBs, RBs are often wasted on bad or rebuilding teams who frequently overwork their RB, due to lack of talent/inability to throw the ball. So while LJ was enjoying the best years of his career, getting 300+ carries a season, he was also bringing the end of it even closer. I’d be pissed if I were him to. They should have let his ass go a long time ago.

As I recall, his mouth almost got him thrown off the team at PSU. So, it’s not as if KC brought out “Evil LJ”. This kid had been sort of an asshole for a long time now.
I think an earlier poster nailed it: The mean streets of State College have hardened another youth.

And I have the right to make fun of those people. Yay we are all happy.
Hate is hate mrejr, not comparing any “movements”. But I do believe there will be a time in the future where we WILL look back at people like this the same way we look at racists.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:25 AM
I certainly hope so.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:29 AM
Bullshit cracker. The gay lifestyle is an adult choice and one’s ethnic or racial background is not. Quit trying to equate the two.
Brock is right. It’s so telling that the same folks preaching “tolerance,” and rightly so in the WORKPLACE or in public short of wanton displays of affection whether hetero or homo, don’t have much tolerance for the mass of regular dudes who find such conduct outright offensive and disgusting.
Quit spinning it and trying to defend dudes who like to give and take it high and hard up the ass. Leave them be as long as they don’t bother you or come into the locker room to ask questions of other dudes whilst their pants are down.
See the unwritten male corporate or public bathroom rules. No talking unless certain conditions exist or you are probably a fag. Just because you are a fag does not give you any more right to be more offended than the regular dudes who find it disgusting.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:31 AM
Well, that’s just about the most bigoted thing I’ve ever read on the Internet. Congratulations. Way to start it out with “cracker.” Really gives your argument its legs.

I’m about as pro gays rights as anybody on this site, but I am also against taking away someone’s right to say they are against it, within reason. LeBatard dislikes Limbaugh, but has really been bothered over what happened: that he was shot down for what people thought he said or actually said, before the issue even came up for discussion. I was as well. You have the right to disagree with someone, but not stop them from saying it (on here, TBL does, if he deems it so)
Once we start limiting people because “we” don’t like the way “they” are/look/say whatever, we’re on our way to Crazytown. What happens when “they” will be able to limit what “we” say?
October 27th, 2009 at 11:42 AM
You know what I hate? When you’re trying to do a post-game interview in the nude and some reporter just starts randomly sucking your dick. Boundaries!
October 27th, 2009 at 11:43 AM
Not racist Cracker. You are talking to a guy with the last girlfriend black if that makes a difference to you.
Just a regular dude who does not care to be around flaming gays unlike perhaps you. Go for it dude, and if you fancy a high hard one that’s your business just don’t try to downplay it when YOU introduce the subject of equating sexual preference with one’s race or ethnic background.
And for the racist tag you can obviously GO FUCK YOURSELF for plenty of personal evidence at hand that I care not to share.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:43 AM

October 27th, 2009 at 11:44 AM
Wow. Some real maturity and eloquence being displayed in a couple of select comments here.
That beings said, LJ is clearly an immature mental midget. Dude’s always been a prick. He just shuts his mouth when he’s getting his yards. He’s a spoiled little punk. Screw him.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:44 AM
I will fuck the help, but I will not pay them a living wage.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:45 AM
Who are “they”? The government can’t limit free speech, but we as free citizens have a right to protest against what someone says. That is as American as it gets. You also have the right to say whatever you want, but realize that anything you say can come back to bite you financially if someone didnt like what you said.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:47 AM
In short, Paolo says if you don’t hate faggots, you must be one.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:49 AM
Cracker probably thinks not only is this okay but would be offended that you would protest. How dare you! He probably would enjoy it himself or did at one time but has since moved on to a beard perhaps.
Guys like him doth protest to defend the flamers amongst the fags crossing such boundaries way too much for them to not be guilty until they prove their innocence.
Outside of the workplace when it interferes with the work at hand and short of violence, any straight dude I know would not bother to make such comments as does Crack.
Crack if you are gay so be it as your free adult choice, but you don’t have to be accomodated in any way different than any other human being and you can be a bojack irrespectively. And don’t demand that others respect also your sexual behaviour irrespective of their personal preferences or religious views for that matter and then cry outrage that you are offended.

You also have the right to say whatever you want, but realize that anything you say can come back to bite you financially if someone didnt like what you said.
CJ; “they” was just a metaphor for someone that another person disagrees with. The government can’t limit free speech, but special interest groups that put pressure on people, companies, sponsors, etc can and have.
I agree with everything you said. I just think there is a little bit of a “Scarlet Letter” thing now, with people out to get anyone who says something a certain group of people don’t like (black/white, liberal/conservative, religious/not-religious, etc). Too much my way or the highway for my liking.
as for the “high hard one” you’re on your own
October 27th, 2009 at 11:54 AM
It’s a matter of human decency and boundaries more than anything else, and for too many faggots they are very liberal around other men.
That’s what many a faggot or folks like you don’t get, for these folks entitle themselves to interfere with others more due to your their-proclaimed “victim” status as fags.
It works both ways of course.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:54 AM
I can’t help it, it’s what I do.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:56 AM

If you don’t like it, great, express your dissenting view preferably with reason.
I didn’t seek to be the most hated man on this site, but hey when you speak out free of the binds to which we must accomodate in public spaces and at work, that’s what you risk big deal. Or wait do you actually believe all that shit they tell you in orientation?
If you still don’t like it because you are challenged to do so in a valid or way that is not hypocritical or merely parroting your homer media, or you can’t just agree to disagree with someone, FUCK YOU.

October 27th, 2009 at 12:16 PM
What is telling about people like Cracker Jack is that they resort to the “bigot” or “racist” tags with anyone who expresses dissent to their openly-flaming intrusive gay lifestyle without knowing the full facts.
That compounds the “crime” and exposes their own hypocrisy whenever they cry “intolerance” because others don’t want to be near their flaming gay ways as opposed to more professional conduct in public or in the workplace.
If Cracker Jack had just admitted he was a huge flamer from the get-go, we would not have had to have had all that discussion and could just live and let live, but no, he had to try to trumpet his own sexual preference over another’s right to dissent and express such dissent without revealing his true position.
This is what happens whenever you discuss something with anyone shilling for a position they are not revealing. It’s not an open discussion, and most folks I find can’t agree to disagree.
I could care less if guys like Cracker Jack love to discuss high hard ones and if he gets another fix tonight, but I sure as fuck don’t care to hear about it or be near it or have to not be offended or disgusted at the mere idea of it by him or any other flaming gay dude.
October 27th, 2009 at 12:19 PM
Ahhh, one of life’s little ironies – the guy who constantly complains about racism is locales such as Jerkwater and Circlejerk, PA is, in fact, a raging homophobe.
October 27th, 2009 at 12:24 PM
The most amusing part of this whole discussion is that Paolo still hasn’t figured out that cracker jack is female.
October 27th, 2009 at 12:26 PM
October 27th, 2009 at 12:27 PM
That doesn’t matter – what matters to him is that cracker jack likes dudes.
October 27th, 2009 at 12:27 PM
So Paolo’s really just against PDA, and perhaps boas, right?
October 27th, 2009 at 12:28 PM
Well then all bets are off when we’re talking about proper conduct in a MALE locker room! She’s just a chick with many flaming gay friends! Why did’nt SHE say so? Or maybe Cracker Jack is a tranny or femme? Go for it!
My position stands all the same for any lurking flamer types.
October 27th, 2009 at 12:28 PM
As long as LJ said, “What in the wide wide world of sports is a-goin’ on here?! I hired you people to try to get a little track laid, not to jump around like a bunch of Kansas City faggots!” I think the slur is applicable.
October 27th, 2009 at 12:30 PM
In the extreme yes and I don’t know what you are talking about as “boas” and don’t need to know.
Don’t ask you already told otherwise TST all’s cool because at least you are upfront about your preferences unlike Cracker Jack and the covert flaming types on here arguing such positions as if they are straight when obviously they are not.
And Cracker Jack is probably lesbo if she’s a chick and not a tranny or femme, but she should have just admitted it upfront because then all that discussion about MALE locker rooms would be pointless.

Yes indeed, when such folks can’t get their way with reason or don’t want to allow free speech without their convenient exceptions, they resort to authoritarianism and force. And folks wonder how dictators rise to power.

I wouldn’t know, but there are plenty of homo sites on the rest of the internet and other places than here on a sports blog where no doubt you could find out right?
October 27th, 2009 at 12:56 PM
That was a fine piece of subversive propaganda to marginalise the average straight male position against flaming homo conduct in those PC 1990s, not to be confused with professional and public tolerance of all things short of high public display of affection (i.e. those flamer parades).
It’s a favourite example of fiction cited by flamer types too and comes up about every time for this discussion. When one can’t point to reality, they resort to fiction of course.
Stay in the closet dude it’s okay.

Dude/chick/whatever. You are not a straight male by not only your admission but by other claims. That’s all we needed to know earlier.

Captain Hernia, I should get something from you guys for all these pageviews and apparently calls to 911 even?
October 27th, 2009 at 1:08 PM
Interesting discussion.
One of my roomates is a homophobe to the max, and I’ll never understand why. I guess he fears that gay people will just start having anal sex with him if they’re close to him, which seems to be the reason why the majority of people who hate homosexuals think.
As a completely straight guy (who loves banging women of all kinds) having to have worked with people from a homosexual group as part an assignment for work, I’m sure you homophobes will love to know that they did not trying to have anal sex with me. Gay people are not as crazy as people make it seem – sure, there are over-the-top gay guys that you see on TV and such, but 95% of the homosexuals I met at work were perfectly normal, and you would even think they were STRAIGHT! Huh, who’d have ever thunk it…normal gay guys?? I thought they all talked funny and walked with thier hands held high.
As a straight guy though, it is sometimes wierd having gay dudes hit on you. I’m all for equality, but having a dude wink at you and tell you you look sexy ranks up there with the rest of my awkward encounters.

And I wish I was kidding about the “they’ll try to hit on me and touch me” part of my rant there. I could have phrased it better for sure, but a lot of the homophobic people I have encountered seem to truly believe that if they met a gay person, that person would try to touch them in some way.
Funny thing is, most of the homophobes I know have never MET a gay person in thier lives.

Agreed with Karma entirely. If the gay community wants more folks to speak out for them, they should get the professionals amongst them to do it more and the flamers should, well, pun intended, take a back seat.
But that’s apparently not what they really want I don’t think. They want the right to be invasively gay on a consistent public basis and be accepted for even that, which is about the same to me as any given couple wanting to have the right to display their affections in full view in public as much as some of us might enjoy that.
It’s a hypocritical double-standard to the high degree such that they will cry “racism” and the like to all opposing views not from the gay community, in which there is actually high dissent on the matter against the flamers of the lot in the minority.
Why they can’t figure it out amongst themselves for the better alternative I have no idea and at this point am not sure I care.

I’ve had plenty of gay friends and none of them have tried to anally penetrate or otherwise convert me.

Thanks for asking. Stage One was revealed as accomplished a week ago after the Heene and Phillips affairs. Many other hints are hidden in the best place to hide things — in plain site.
Stay tuned and check the bottom of day-old posts for many a late night comment too.

That’s what their parades are all about I guess. I oppose them too because they are by definition PUBLIC.
In private I don’t give a fuck may they bring down the house, RV, or tent or whatever.
I remembering an awful short-lived show by Michael Moore known as “The Awful Truth,” with a segment when he took a bunch of flaming gays around the country with him that actually damaged their cause more than helped it as they went to mock Sen. Trent Lott (for whom I could care less for those wondering about any partisan inclinations which I do not have at all).

The problem with the gay community is that it will always, ALWAYS, be a minority and thus, full and total acceptance will never be there, no matter what extremes the gay community goes to prove otherwise. In fact, I think some of the extremes that they go to achieve PR and awareness ends up having a negative effect.
However, I believe by the time my generation is kicking it at the top (I’m 20 now), homophobia will not be as big of a problem as it is now.
I don’t like the portryal of gay men as being the flaming guys who talk with a high pitched voice and comment on purses and shoes. I think those types are in the minority….it’s like assuming all people from the Middle East yell loudly in Arabic at all times and must be terrorists in some way.

“If I don’t know how to behave, it’s because I’m just so….far the opposite way. It’s just, I can’t even imagine… the thing.
Maybe we could go out for a beer sometime, and you can tell me how you….do that….to another dude.”

Uggghhh …a “The Office” reference. Much of Hollywood is in the closet and that cat’s been out of the bag for quite sometime as is now obvious with many an on-air media type out of New York.
It is as if there is some rule that if a woman is opinionated about matters and is on TV with her own show, most of the time she must be lesbian or bisexual. This seems to be the rule more than the exception in the news media especially.

One thing to note though, homosexuals will always, ALWAYS be more tolerated by women than men. It’s funny though, women (from the ones I’ve talked to) seem to want gay friends so they can “gossip, talk about guys, and go shopping with”. I’m hoping that I actually encounter a homosexual who openly admits he does not like to shop and critique women’s (or men’s clothing). If this is what the gay stereotype is going to continue to be, then homophobia will not go away for some time.

+1 for the Simpson’s reference. As a Pittsburgh guy, Roeth, is it true that the entire steel industry has been gay since the 80’s?

Great to have you back, Clown.
Misquoting and misrepresenting people’s arguments again, but still — welcome back. Wasn’t the same without you.

Clown now that you have come out, I hope you feel better for your own sake. Otherwise no thanks stick to your playhouse dungeon of mimes and big rig and other parts of your lifestyle that are better out of the locker room. Peace out anyway.

TJ of the TJ/
One of the degenerates who routinely pollutes my email with such stuff just turned me on to Amber Heard. I would send this to TBL, but I don’t believe she’s on Gossip Girl. Or is she? I have no idea who this is, but thought this thread would be the appropriate place to link her.
