Dammit. I leave to take the kid to the park and I missed a post about Autzen. Did you know Oregon is one of the only schools in the country that offers scholarships to their cheerleaders? Super competitive program. Still wishing I would have chosen this weekend to make my trip to Portland. Sigh.

And it shows in the “quality” of cheerleaders we get. You were here for Cal correct? That was a hell of a weekend too. It’s not to late to book a flight…

Thank you, can’t get enough of that play. Still remember it like it was yesterday.

As for Saturday, blatant homer pick: Oregon 31 USC 20. Have a damn good feeling about this game. Defense is playing great, freshman quarterback coming into Autzen. OSU just ass-raped USCs defense which leads me to believe Oregon will be able to score on them. Although all that goes out the window if Oregon turns the ball over a bunch.

Best WR’s I saw were Johnny Rodgers or Anthony Carter (although Rodgers did most damage w/ returns). I was a little kid when Rodgers played, but he was the first “electric player” I remember seeing, where every time he touched it, you thought he was going to the house

When you motherfuckers beat us in 2006, Ball made a turrible throw on the last play in that game too. Dammit I hate him. I primarily blame Chan Gailey though.

when GT played ND that one year and lost with Calvin Johnson, i was yelling at the screen for ball to just throw it up ion the air to him every time. idiot.
at least, i hope that is the game i am remembering.

That would be 2006. The next year in South Bend without Calvin was much more fun.
