Donald Sterling To Pay Record $2.275 Million to Settle Discrimination Suit
1-liner, NBA, Race November 4th. 2009, 10:45am
Racial Discrimination: Clippers owner Donald Sterling will pay a record $2.275 million to settle multiple discrimination lawsuits. Sterling allegedly discriminated against blacks, hispanics in his Los Angeles apartment buildings. He will pay $2.265 million to the victims and a $100,000 fine to the government for violating the Fair Housing Act. Such a revelation would preclude Sterling buying into the NBA, but what can they do with him already entrenched? The real question is how can Simmons try to use this as a platform for becoming the Clippers GM now.

Bob Bradley should be immediately fired and replaced with whomever the U-17 coach is. The guy must have just delivered a halftime speech for the ages

Now it can be reported as only an “allegation” because he settled before his racist ass would have been taken to the cleaners in court. He would not have settled lest the evidence demonstrated clearly grievous and consistent offenses on his part.
What to do with him? Well David Stern for starters has a long record of having things (i.e. Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, etc.) “taken care of.”
If you under 30 and don’t know what I am talking about, don’t ask me here look it up and talk to some other folks who have followed the NBA well before Lebron and Kobe.
