Although I totally appreciate and respect your opinions, this goes to all you TRUE track and Field fans!

OK, for years announcers have been calling people fast, Jerry Rice, Dorsett, Mel Gray (I’m dating myself), Roger Carr, Randy Moss, ect. All fast RELATIVELY speaking. But let’s be real, the 40 or 100 m dash is run in shorts and spikes or some light weight shoe made for speed. That being said, we must consider removing any hand recorded time to eliminate reaction time. Now, let’s talk SPEED! There is a really good magazins and website called Trackandfield news that will give us the real deal. Someone mentioned D.Green, Gault, Desean Jackson all blazing fast but there are some omissions who have mad speed like Ron Brown, Sam Graddy, James Jett and James Trapp (ever heard of these guys, all played with the raiders possibly same time)Herschel Walker and Renaldo “Skeets” Nehemiah. I could go on and on BUT I’ll vote Green to smoke them all in his hayday.

DeSean Jackson always looks as if he’s racing 8 year olds out there. But Darrell Green will always be number 1 in the speed category. I remember when he walked down Eric Dickerson and Marus Allen. I remember when he played for the Redskins WITH Deion and was STILL the fastest player on the team.

how is willie parker on this list? rediculous. this would be awesome. i would probably put jeremy maclin in on this, all though his 40 wasnt all that impressive-just 4.4 but man was he explosive at mizzou

Why don’t they replace the Pro Bowl with a skills contest? It would get better ratings. I know I’d rather watch guys run an obstacle course or having two teams do the tug of war than watch that stupid Pro Bowl game.
