I think the IU/PU rivalry took a hit when Bob Knight got canned. He was a big point of contention between the two sides. kinda sad really.

you’re right. The football game has been meaningless since the 2nd year they played for the Old Oaken Bucket. Keady and Knight could REALLY get after each other, so hoops really made the rivalry. That’s when I went there, and it was great theater to see the two teams go at it. There was a genuine dislike between the teams back then.

nice to see the butt-caliper come up again. for the record, the hands start palms down, thumbs touching at right angles to pinkies, which are pointing forward. so you have three sides of a square. then you roll hands to palms up. if ass fits between thumb tips, good to go. i believe this is when desperation sets in, to help you have some kind of a standard. not for evryday use for guys like rico suave
