50 Great MMA Beatdowns
MMA November 21st. 2009, 5:00pmNow for a break from the great college football action. Wait, what? The whole day has been a break from great college football action? You don’t appreciate UConn-Notre Dame? The door is over!
Complex put together a list of the 50 Greatest MMA Dominations and let me tell you, there’s a lot of time killing, violent, bloody, painful goodness. Some of the fights are classic fights featuring fighters we’ve all heard of. Some are fights between guys most people have never heard of. Either way, most of them are bloody awesome. And I mean that in both the American and British parlance.
I’m going to show you number 1 right here because the 50 fights they highlight are more about the journey than the destination. Though, this destination is rife with unintentional comedy and awesomeness.
Nice mustache. Seriously though, go waste some time pouring over Complex’s top 50. It’s worth your time.

Wow Oregon State’s basketball team is shitty.
November 21st, 2009 at 5:08 PM

/grasping at straws
//what an ugly start to the season

Travis Fulton v. Jeremy Bullock is the reason for weight classes. Very funny
November 21st, 2009 at 5:10 PM
Holy shit…Oregon State was down by 22 to Sacramento State at halftime.
November 21st, 2009 at 5:13 PM
Actually came back and took the lead at one point.

I couldn’t find a decent box score on the game. I didn’t look very hard (espn/yahoo/osu’s official site) though. National/local/my own indifference towards OSU basketball is kind of embarrassing.
November 21st, 2009 at 5:29 PM
I am fucking pissed. I took Sac State but allpro wouldn’t let me bet it. GOd damnit.
November 21st, 2009 at 5:31 PM
QQ: eventually they’ll probably have it up here
November 21st, 2009 at 5:37 PM
Thanks Beadle…added to favorites. What was the line?
November 21st, 2009 at 5:40 PM
This might sound like a awful bet, but the Lions are gonna cover big tomorrow
November 21st, 2009 at 5:44 PM
QQ: OSU was favored by like 20. I figured it was a good bet.
Also, to you gambling folks, what do you think of the following teaser: K State +26.5 over Nebraska, Wazzu +41 over Ore St. and Virginia +31.5 over Clemson
November 21st, 2009 at 5:46 PM
anytime you get anything over 25 points in all 3 games on a tease, its tough not to bet it.
November 21st, 2009 at 5:46 PM
Oregon State is going to name the score and Mike Riley is a pretty nice guy so that might hold up.
November 21st, 2009 at 5:47 PM
I think the other two are locks.
November 21st, 2009 at 5:50 PM
well, Notre Dame’s almost certainly going down. costly fumble near the end, Conn setting up for potential game winning FG …
November 21st, 2009 at 5:51 PM
Wide left!! Overtime!!!!
November 21st, 2009 at 5:51 PM
Clearly its all Charlie Weis’s fault.
November 21st, 2009 at 5:52 PM
damnit.
November 21st, 2009 at 5:52 PM
Randy Edsall might as well just hop a charter to Lawrence after this game.
November 21st, 2009 at 5:56 PM
You know, as a UCONN fan, let me just say that this season has absolutely sucked. I mean, we knew our team sucked, because we always suck. But Jesus, if we could just lose outright like we used to, that would be better.

thedude, were you familiar with Cundiff who transferred a couple years back to Ashland?
November 21st, 2009 at 6:01 PM
Yeah … Cundiff was a big time recruit in the wake of Orlovsky. After he transferred, we were stuck with DJ Hernandez at QB, who was god awful. The next year, Hernandez moved to WR where he was pretty good.
If we can get a stop …

Floyd! Great pass there
double OT
November 21st, 2009 at 6:04 PM
C’mon – block the XP
November 21st, 2009 at 6:05 PM
Went to HS with Cundiff, Kid’s got all the tools in the world and would’ve been great for you guys up there but he wanted to be the man right away, was way too cocky, and then decided to go play D2. There’s still talk that pro scouts are interested in him.

PSU laying it on Sparty in the 2nd half. 35-7 now
November 21st, 2009 at 6:07 PM
id like to take this opportunity to say how wicked awesome college football OT is.
NFL could use this kind of excitement.
November 21st, 2009 at 6:08 PM
ND with 4th and 4 – their FG kicker isn’t the best either.
November 21st, 2009 at 6:13 PM
Yeah baby! suck it, fuckers
November 21st, 2009 at 6:14 PM

Bring on Bob Stoops!
November 21st, 2009 at 6:22 PM
can someone check on Jersey to make sure he’s ok?
November 21st, 2009 at 6:25 PM
Not. Gonna. Happen.
Offer Stoops and Meyer and just move on to Kelly.
November 21st, 2009 at 6:28 PM
The International Bowl, UCONN vs Western Michigan. Feel the excitement!
I love going to that game. All the schools offer $10 tickets and it’s usually a good time with all the kids the stadium.
November 21st, 2009 at 6:48 PM
questions:
1) Weis goes where next?
2) Clausen goes to whom in the draft?
3) Is Golden Tate a 1st rounder?
4) Do the Irish get Urban or Stoops, or settle of Kelly?
November 21st, 2009 at 6:49 PM
what ive said all along.
like applying to harvard and yale … and then attending your safety.
