Jets Will Try Not to Lose by 40 at New England Today
NFL November 22nd. 2009, 4:00pm
Sorry, Jets fans. Bill Belichick is coming off the most highly publicized and overly criticized loss of his career. He would never tell us as much, but that kind of noise makes The Bill angry. And such a scenario usually translates to an inconsiderate thrashing of the next opponent.
Bad timing for the yappy Jets, as they need a win to stay afloat in the rapidly evaporating AFC playoff picture.
Prediction? Hell.
There’s only three other late games — Cards @ Rams, Chargers @ Denver, Bengals @ Backyard Thanksgiving Team — good luck with all that.

My Bills snatched defeat from the jaws of victory again. Idiots.
I hope the Pats lay a 50 burger on the Jets today
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:06 PM
how the hell are the colts still undefeated?
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:08 PM

November 22nd, 2009 at 4:08 PM
Sorry, TSH. We were looking for pain. PAIN!
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:08 PM

steelers about to lose
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:16 PM
The Chiefs almost lost the game…and are about to win it against the Steelers.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:18 PM
Yes! Fuck the Steelers! Big Ben sucks!
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:18 PM
Big Ben needs annother TV repair stat

November 22nd, 2009 at 4:21 PM
CLE just committed PI on a Hail Mary!
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:24 PM
HAHAHAHAHA! That’s why the Browns are the Browns!
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:24 PM
400 yards, 3tds, and a loss, Roethlisberger is finally elite!
What the fuck happened, I was doing stuff and just saw the end on Red Zone. Some quality defense on that last drive.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:24 PM
I don’t know where to begin on the Steelers. Statistically they absolutely dominated in terms of yardage, time of possession, etc. But, special teams failures, turnovers (including an interception in the red zone), and defensive lapses in the secondary continue to haunt this team.
8 consecutive games with either a special teams or turnover return for a TD against us.
/Browns with an epic failure
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:24 PM
Is there any reason to live in Cleveland? That has to be the worst loss I’ve ever ever seen. PI on a hail mary, Stafford gets hurt, then the browns call a timeout so stafford can come back in and throw a TD pass. I can’t imagine a worse ending or team.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:24 PM
Browns-Lions best game evah!!!
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:25 PM
damn moss was open
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:25 PM
Ok I’ve only seen it on my fantasy stat tracker, but Cleveland committed a penalty on the last play of the game, and then Stafford threw a TD on an untimed down? And the PAT won it? Wow. Somebody check spencer for a pulse.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:26 PM
spencer just bought himself a shotgun
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:26 PM
Browns-Lions best game evah!!!
NFL Replay guaranteed.
How the hell do you do that, Cleveland? HOW?!
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:26 PM
belichick goes for it on fourth!
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:27 PM
Ok I’ve only seen it on my fantasy stat tracker, but Cleveland committed a penalty on the last play of the game, and then Stafford threw a TD on an untimed down? And the PAT won it? Wow. Somebody check spencer for a pulse.
I think it was because Brady was wearing a ghey wool hat on the sideline in a fricking Dome

November 22nd, 2009 at 4:28 PM
Pats fumble!
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:30 PM
sick to my stomach
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:32 PM
Also, I think I’m going to quit playing fantasy football after this season. I have Adrian Peterson, Pierre Thomas, Thomas Jones, Reggie Wayne, and Hines Ward in a ppr league, and I’m second in the league in points, but I have a 5-5 record, and have lost my last four games. Bullshit.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:33 PM
Same here stabbin. I would say death to Det but honestly that’s redundant.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:34 PM
haha mark sanchez fucking sucks
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:34 PM
The Sanchize crumbling.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:34 PM
Sanchez with a TD toss.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:36 PM
i’ll tell ya who sucks, this sanchez kid.
/piling on
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:37 PM
You should convince them to move to a points league. I have a buddy that every week the top 5 teams in points for that week get a win, the bottom 5 get a loss. That’s how they do records. I’m trying to convince my league to do that. By far the most fair way.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:43 PM
Atleast i didn’t lost 1500 like my by buddy because pittsburgh couldnt cover a +3 monster tease against KC, haha.
/now thats a bummer
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:43 PM
Yeah, that seems much more equitable.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:43 PM
Edwards drop. This just in. Water is wet.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:43 PM
all you Browns fans that weren’t raging alcoholics before…
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:44 PM
This Bengals/Raiders game is a huge clusterfuck.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:45 PM
is that really how the Browns game ended? I got kinda hung up here and there, and from what you’re telling me, I’m a little shocked.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:45 PM
That would seem to be the only way I could enjoy fantasy football at this point as well.
We’re a couple more Braylon drops from TBL throwing up his first “Braylon Edwards sucks” post. I’m excited!
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:50 PM
Nice to watch the Raiders and see that most of the seats behind the endzone are empty.
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:53 PM
great throw
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:14 PM
sanchise blows dicks
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:17 PM
Wow the Jets are turrible. Whoever said they could go 13-3 is a dummy.
/waves at Jersey
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:22 PM
The Jets are being beaten like a red headed stepchild
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:22 PM
I doubted TBL dropping Braylon Edwards for Matt Stafford in FF after my Browns held down Flacco last week… I was wrong and the Browns suck
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:23 PM
Jersey, this is the Jets win you all but guaranteed. As I recall, they have the Patriots number. They’ve won two straight.
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:25 PM
Did Kurt Warner get hurt? Is that why Leinart’s in the game?
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:28 PM
Hahaha.
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:28 PM
Anyone watching NFL Network right now? They’ve been arguing for five minutes about what constitutes garbage time. Riveting.
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:30 PM
Cardinals should draft Tebow. Can you imagine the force of God that team would have?
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:30 PM
garbage time = playing the browns
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:31 PM
Jersey needs hotter girls in his background.
/hi jersey!
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:32 PM

November 22nd, 2009 at 5:37 PM
Here’s what happened to Warner.
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:40 PM
the jets fucked up. if they would have let the pats punt without trying to block it they would have only lost by 35. now? bill is gonna go for 70.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:11 PM
bill hasnt had any luck the past two weeks
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:11 PM

what have we here? down 10, jets ball, need a drive to get right back in this thing.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:34 PM
sanchez looks miles better this half.
reamed at halftime?
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:36 PM
sanchez still looks like he has happy feet sometimes … and his short passes seem too hard (and off the mark).
big 3rd and 9…
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:36 PM
You said it. We were all thinking it, but you said it.

November 22nd, 2009 at 6:37 PM
For the sake of my fantasy team I hope they give it to Thomas Jones. Often.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:38 PM
here is a bold prediction. Illinois will beat Cincinnati

Is a reverse jinx still a reverse jinx if you mention that it’s a reverse jinx?

November 22nd, 2009 at 6:45 PM
what’d the rams do to get back in the mix? down 8 with 3 mins left, at the Arizona 10.
dangerous spot here …
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:45 PM
Can someone please put an end to the insufferable “girl that sounds like she just woke up lazily singing along to some simple piano thing” trend in commercials? Use whatever means necessary.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:45 PM
you’re right. i would not be surprised to see illinois get worked hell i expect but they like to make people say “why the fuck havent you played this way all year?!”
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:46 PM
Yep. It’s Rece Davis’ favorite.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:46 PM
Seriously, we’ve got all this insane technology, isn’t there something that can automatically put Slayer on really loud to mask when certain commercials come on?

WTF?????
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:47 PM
Sanchez is only slightly more accurate than Jamarcus Russell.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:47 PM
breathe.
breathe.
breathe.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:51 PM
ok, here’s what i keep telling myself: Sanchez has had 9 games with his 2nd best WR, and only like 5 (?) with Edwards. next year, these errors won’t happen.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:52 PM
because sanchez wont be playing and edwards is coming to chicago with brandon marshall?
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:54 PM
the browns will find a way to fuck that up.
“yeah it took us all of our existence to get a decent qb so we gotta wait another 40 to sign a decent receiver.”
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:54 PM
GOD DAMNIT. THE FUCKING BEARS
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:55 PM
When the Bills lost to the Jags in the last minute today, I yelled out one “FUCK!”, and that was it.
My wife said, “but you said that when they had that TD called back for a penalty in the 2nd half, that were going to lose in the last minute because of it. It’s like you already knew”
You know the Jets are gonna lose, and even if they don’t, it means nothing in terms of playoffs, so why worry about it?
tbl: Edwards is lapping the NFL in most drops by a WR, and he missed a game. That guy couldn’t catch the clap in a pornstar gangbang
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:56 PM
Sanchez has made some great throws today, but he’s made some awful decisions too. Thomas Jones was doing jumping jacks all by himself in the flat while Sanchez one hopped a throw down the middle of the field more than once.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:57 PM
Hahaha oh man, that was the worst one yet.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:57 PM
i yell at my TV – throw it away, mark!
he throws a pick.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:57 PM
wow could have just thrown it out of bounds. he really sucks
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:57 PM
That was the dumbest pick I’ve ever seen.
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:58 PM
HAHA
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:58 PM
he’s just pressing too hard trying to make a play. he’ll be a fine nfl QB.
feel free to go look at the stats of Mannings, Aikman, etc in their 1st season
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:58 PM
strangely it fits for that team to
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:59 PM
he’s just pressing too hard trying to make a play. he’ll be a fine nfl QB.
feel free to go look at the stats of Mannings, Aikman, etc in their 1st season
those were horrible teams. The Jets aren’t that bad. He makes them worse. Big difference.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:00 PM
The “Jewish Jerry Rice”!
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:02 PM
It’s really obvious how in the tank for the Pats Nantz is.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:03 PM
He did that at USC too. He makes some of the worst decisions I’ve seen. He has a lot of Jay Cutler in him. Tries to force throws and doesn’t use his head. I said this same thing when everyone was trying to trade up for him. He’ll get better but I see his ceiling being closer to Cutler and not Tom Brady or whoever.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:07 PM
Minus the canon arm
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:07 PM
OAK just tied it up. AFC West bottom feeders taking it to the best of the AFC North today.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:08 PM
Yes. But the same stupid Cutler decision making. aka thinks they can make every throw regardless of how open someone is.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:08 PM
bengals and raiders about to be tied, 30 seconds left
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:08 PM
Having the brains of Jay Cutler with about 15% of the physical talent isn’t a good combo
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:08 PM
Cutler has a camera for an arm? Explains a lot.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:09 PM
Oakland should go for 2. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t. I wouldn’t chance it with a coin toss.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:11 PM
It’s really obvious how in the tank for the Pats Nantz is.
I think it’s like Madden/Favre and Summerall/Giants in that they covered so many games and get to know the players from all the meetings and pre-interviews that it’s probably natural to develop a friendship with them.
Someone was saying that on TV about Favre a few weeks ago. You do a road game of his, and he would always be the last guy they get to interview, and he would end up spending the night talking football to the announcers, because he had nothing else to do. So, instead of getting him for 45 minutes, you got him for 4 hours, and he became friends with a lot of media that way.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:12 PM
Because the Cable guy knew CIN would fumble the KO
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:12 PM
Shut the fuck up, I have the Bengals as a teaser.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:12 PM
whoa! Bengals fumbled the kickoff!!!!!
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:12 PM
Like I said. Kick the point and get a turnover. Get me an NFL gig.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:13 PM
im not sure but i think your team is the falcons so how do you feel about extending the streak of not making the playoffs 2 years in a row?
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:13 PM
Or that CBS is a business partner with the Kraft family on a restaurant in Foxboro.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:13 PM
reche caldwell stripped, and it looks like the raiders are going to pull the upset.
another big day for the ‘dogs
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:13 PM
If OAK wins this it will even piss me off more relative to the Steeler game. A gift opportunity wasted.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:14 PM
AFC North about to take in the butt today.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:15 PM
They’re not really my team. I’m kinda meh on rooting for NFL football teams. I mainly root against. I also told everybody’s favorite MATTRYAN that the Falcons would miss the playoffs this year.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:16 PM
The days of piling on the shitty teams are over. Glancing at next week, I don’t like any big favorites except for SD at home against KC.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:16 PM
Or that CBS is a business partner with the Kraft family on a restaurant in Foxboro.
yeah, but they’re all partners on shit already with the TV contracts and voiceovers of annual team videos and stuff. I think it’s just he’s probably developed a personal relationship with those guys, and that’s hard to fake (plus the fact that none of the Jets have any redeeming qualities and are totally unlikeable)
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:17 PM
because you’re a secret communist? it all makes sense now!!!!!
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:17 PM
mighty AFC North:
Bengals lose to lowly raiders
ravens lose to colts
steelers lose to lowly chiefs
wacky wild, kool-aid style
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:18 PM
Cable is gonna get hammered and punch some bitches tonight
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:19 PM
TBL- you forgot Browns losing on a hail mary pass interference. I guess that’s expected though. They are the Browns.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:21 PM
That pick on the hail mary for Palmer is HUGE for me in fantasy. Now I just need 3 points from L. McCoy tonight for the win.
/essentially in an elimination game today.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:25 PM
Edwards padding his stats with the dropped Hail Mary at the end-lol
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:28 PM
and before you laugh too hard at Peyton’s awful rookie year, that team had Marshall Faulk and Marvin Harrison.
Sanchez will be fine, people.
i’ll admit it looks bad when Ryan and Flacco took their teams to the playoffs last year.
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:29 PM
lmao
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:41 PM
Now THATS the Cincinnati Bungles I know and love, damn the Steelers needed that.
And neither will make it back this year.
