Ohio and Michigan Still Hate Each Other
1-liner, NFL November 24th. 2009, 10:15amFaking Injuries?: Cleveland coach Eric Mangini strongly hinted that he thought Detroit defenders might have been faking injuries to slow down the Browns’ no-huddle offense. Detroit coach Jim Schwartz fired back, “That couldn’t be further from the truth,” and said Mangini’s comments were way out of bounds. The Browns may be able to thank the Lions later – like if they both are tied for worst record in the league, Cleveland would get the No. 1 pick in the draft due to the loss. They must go defense.

Eric Mangini is a dick.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:18 AM
The last #1 pick that isn’t under a rookie draft scale? I seriously doubt either team wants that pick.

I really hope Suh does not go to Cleveland. I want him at Detroit.

That would require them to have an offense to begin with.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:20 AM

November 24th, 2009 at 10:23 AM
Mangini is a cock sucker.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:24 AM
I was really hoping that the Saints’ defense/special teams would outscore the Browns’ offense. We had it until last week.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:25 AM
Mangini’s confused, it was the Browns that were running the fake defense.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:26 AM
i hate eric mangini.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:27 AM
mangini is a fag bitch. Spy gate and now this shit.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:29 AM
when mangini gets fired here, do you think he ever works again? Certainly not as a HC, but even as a coordinator?
November 24th, 2009 at 10:30 AM
I want to get in this hatefest…I hate Jake Delhomme. I hate him so much, I think I’m going to suckerpunch him.

dunno…he’s burned a lotta bridges.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:32 AM
Mangini redirecting the focus away from his inane time out call that let Stafford come out to get the game winning touchdown.
If there is a God, he will not get a high profile job in football again.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:34 AM
yes very excited about the loss. i think stl and tampa have another win in them too.

Absolutely….oh you meant in the NFL. Hell no, his career is circling the drain.

So long as Al Davis lives it’s always possible.

Scoreboard. You baby fat having, acne faced pile of feminine qualities.

you’re aware that Tampa just demoted it’s D/C and gave Raheem Brock even more responsibility, right? That’s bad news, because his coordinator experience is only 5 games ever, and he’s been totally lost as a head coach.
If the’ve got another win in them, it’s only because of a scheduling miracle (do they play Notre Dame?)

Rich Kotite got a second chance.
/never say never

oh, you were making fun of mangini? carry on.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:38 AM

God would take the Browns’ coaching gig because he likes to save the weak and defenseless, and it’s not high profile!

mother teresa thinks the cleveland job is a lost cause.
Mike Rowe coached a game for Dirty Jobs, but it was too disgusting to air.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:43 AM
Not defending Mangini here, but last year the Broncos did admit to faking injuries during their game with the Jets, Dre Bly specifically.
Still not the right way to go about it.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:43 AM
Arizona, New Orleans, and Cincinnati are contenders.
/nothing is a lost cause

he was on the sopranos once when he was Man-Genius, maybe he can star in Burger King or Krispy Kreme commercials?

The only problem with that is that the Browns IS Mangini’s second chance.
Is Rich Kotite even still alive? What happened to that guy. Probably screwing up schemes at some D-III school somewhere.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:46 AM
Supposedly he was a great ball boy before he moved up to PR intern. Maybe his old job is still waiting for him.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:47 AM
Dont forget, he was also on Sesame Street! Multi talented, this man.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:47 AM
Okay. Which number job is this for Wade Phillips?
November 24th, 2009 at 10:48 AM

Touche salesman.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:48 AM
I still remember that year. The media actually argued that he, not Sean Payton, was coach of the year.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:51 AM
Okay. Which number job is this for Wade Phillips?
poor Wade. He’s a great D coordinator, but he keeps getting headcoaching jobs.

Dont forget, he was also on Sesame Street! Multi talented, this man.
Was that the episode when Elmo was injured by the Cookie Monster during an “opportunity period”?
November 24th, 2009 at 10:51 AM
I agree with Clown, Michigan and Ohio are irrelevant. If the team in your home state sucks, just root for the Yankees (right Clown?).
/high five
November 24th, 2009 at 10:54 AM
Oh, Jay.
November 24th, 2009 at 10:54 AM
Mangina learned all about faking injures from Belichick and Parcells in Super Bowl XXV against the Bills. They did it the entire 2nd half. Cheating pieces of shit.
/not bitterrrrr
November 24th, 2009 at 10:57 AM
Huh?
November 24th, 2009 at 11:00 AM
Mangini is not liked by the other sideline or his own.
November 24th, 2009 at 11:05 AM
Highly unnecessary.
November 24th, 2009 at 11:10 AM
