Police told the Orlando Sentinel, which has dominated the story, that after Woods crashed his car, his wife came outside, smashed the back window with a golf club, and managed to get her husband out of the vehicle. He was unconscious for about six minutes before going to the hospital. The paper says Wood is resting at home with facial lacerations. Questions that linger: Where’s the 911 call? Why smash the back window instead of opening the door? If the car was busted up, will we see photos? Where was he going at 2:30 am?

Cassino is right. You’re correct in that your body pushes forward when traveling in a vehicle going in reverse. However, one cannot adjust to an unexpected crash by throwing oneself forward or backward. Laws of inertia.

Good luck with this. This is more stern than the Berlin Wall. Tiger had a bad night. We all have bad nights. Just thank goodness mine did not involve a fire hydrant and a golf club.

he didnt throw himself forward he bounced forward.when he slammed into the fire hydrant he thrown back and the chair bounced him forward making his face hit the steering wheel. that is plausible.

She beat his ass. He tired to leave without fighting back. In a hurry, he backed into the hydrant. Then she busted the window, and he drove into a tree.

No. No, that’s not plausible. When one is driving a vehicle in reverse, inertia makes the body travel backward at the same rate. When said vehicle hits an object or decelerates, one’s body will continue going in reverse at the same rate of speed.
