Is Vinny Del Negro Done or What?
1-liner, NBA December 29th. 2009, 4:00pmVinny Del Negro: ESPN reported yesterday that Del Negro is unofficially out as head coach, and the team is just waiting to find his replacement. The Bulls have basically ignored that report. Del Negro’s response: “There’s really nothing to say. You have all these people that have rumors and everyone has their sources. It’s just not accurate. I don’t have time to deal with rumors. I talk to Gar and Pax every day; they’re at practice every day.” Del Negro, one of the lowest paid coaches in the league, is making about $2 million this season, or nearly what he earned earlier this decade while playing for the Suns. The bottom line on ESPN was great: Del Negro fired as coach of Bulls but will coach team until they find replacement. May coach rest of season.

Addressing your superiors by nicknames doesn’t endear you or make you any less fireable.
“Hey Gar, Pax, we’re good right? Right? Fellas? Why are you putting me in a car trunk? I thought we were nickname buddies? Remember how I let you call me ‘blackie’ Gar?”

Add to the Bulls to Chicago teams that need regime changes-Bears, Cubs.
