What the Hell else do you want? You’re playing scrubs for the second week in a row if New England wins earlier in the day.

Hey, did you hear there’s a “new, focused Tony Romo?”
How many times in his career have we seen this story in career so far? 12? Hell, this is the third time this year.

Wishing everyone a safe and Happy New Year from the city of Brotherly Love.
Be safe tonight ladies and gents.

December 31st, 2009 at 10:28 AM
How many fans do you think are just going to be duct taping beers to their body?

I see you’ve recovered from the atrocity on the weekend, and are back to berating ESPN for running Cowboys stories which you always click on.
December 31st, 2009 at 10:30 AM
I’m not understanding. Why aren’t they serving beer?!
At least you can still buy it outside that day..
/fuck the bible belt laws
December 31st, 2009 at 10:31 AM
I think we’d all be much better off if you just stayed away from the NFC Beast Blog.
December 31st, 2009 at 10:31 AM
I just clicked that thing Jay. It’s located in ESPN’s NFC East blog. What the fuck do you want them to talk about in there? The Saints?
Like it or not, this weekend there’s a big NFC east game. Don’t watch it, but don’t bitch that there’s interest. You should be reading up on how the Saints can’t stop runs up the middle, because you’ll be getting a steady diet from Carolina.
December 31st, 2009 at 10:37 AM
So true.
Tony Romo should hand the ball off 50 times and the ‘boys win, every week. Don’t give him the chance to lose the game.
December 31st, 2009 at 10:38 AM
Fine, I point out the 395th “Tony Romo has figured it out” story on ESPN, and I get taken to the woodshed. I haven’t said shit about them for weeks. But whatever.
December 31st, 2009 at 10:48 AM
I haven’t said shit about them for weeks.
Wonder why?
you talked shit about them for a solid month leading up to that game. I can point to comments you made in November, where you were slathering to get your 13-0 Saints in that game against Romo in December. Then, you cried like a baby woman for two straight weeks because the wheels fell off the undefeated season you “deserved.”
Now, you’ve recuperated enough to scour ESPN’s headlines for references to Dallas, and bitch about them to a message board. Bravo to you Jay, for picking yourself up off the mat.

Sunday night will be a mess at that place. Everyone over 12 years old is showing up blacked out.
December 31st, 2009 at 10:55 AM
i knew working today would suck, factoring in the snow and bad roads, it sucks even more.
December 31st, 2009 at 11:01 AM

December 31st, 2009 at 11:06 AM
The snow timing was all wrong, it was a blizzard driving in here and now it’s clearing up. It was supposed to start later in the day, so that they could let us go by like noon. Oh well here’s hoping I still get sent home around 2 or 3.
December 31st, 2009 at 11:07 AM
I think all of the Romo bashing has, amazingly, turned him now into an underrated QB. The guy can play.
December 31st, 2009 at 11:09 AM
Amen. I was pissed at the weather people when I woke up and saw white stuff all over the ground. Here in DE we were supposed to get rain only. Instead, my usual 20 minute drive to work took about 45.
December 31st, 2009 at 11:09 AM
Romo > Eli Manning
December 31st, 2009 at 11:16 AM
no.
December 31st, 2009 at 11:17 AM
bad enough NFL owners rape people with their clothes on to get into an NFL stadium. then a fan can’t even enjoy a cold beer???
only person who would agree with this would be mushnick.
i hope there’s another bonfire in the upperdeck!
December 31st, 2009 at 11:17 AM
LOL carrie underwood may not agree.
December 31st, 2009 at 11:21 AM
Nah, Sanchez is still playing!
December 31st, 2009 at 11:29 AM
I think all of the Romo bashing has, amazingly, turned him now into an underrated QB. The guy can play.
This is certainly his best season, and least frustrating as a fan. When he’s not making egregious errors (and he hasn’t made many since the first Giants game), he’s a high quality starting QB. 516 attempts and only 8 INTs.
Eli was really good this year, too. But nobody QBing moved up my charts more than Rivers.
December 31st, 2009 at 11:29 AM
I hate both, but have to agree. Eli is the highest paid QB in the league? Get the fuck outta here.
December 31st, 2009 at 11:30 AM
does anybody want to hear about my super good mortgage news? Because it’s super good.
December 31st, 2009 at 11:31 AM

The sales of beer at Jets night games has always been a situation in flux since the late 80’s. People in the upper deck started burning the seat cushions that were the giveaway for a MNF game against the Raiders. Since then there were no beer sales at any night games, then they changed it from no beer to one per person at a time up to the begining of the half. The usual policy is 2 beer per person at a time until the end of halftime. So this really isn’t that big of a surprise.
December 31st, 2009 at 1:02 PM
This policy just assures that more people will binge in the parking lot before they head in. Didn’t the prohibition experiment in America teach us anything?
