Washington Guard Isiah Thomas Gets His First Taste of “Bandwagon-Jumping” Media
College Basketball, Twitter January 4th. 2010, 3:30pm
The Washington Huskies were supposed to be the best team in the Pac-10 this season. It hasn’t happened yet. They lost at home to Oregon Saturday. Steve Kelley of the Seattle Times ripped the team. The Huskies’ second best player, sophomore point guard Isiah Thomas, took to twitter to respond: “When u lose everybody and there mom thinks they knw why u loss and its so crazy! (Seattletimes) and every other media outlet! Its jus funny! … Media is jus badwagon jumpers! … #tobehonest the media loves u when ur doing good and HATES u when u slip up. they act all coo n ur face. Behind ur back there ur worst enemy … Hahaha I love the media there so TWO faced its crazy. Especially the 1s n ur own backyard. “Loss like this can wreck UWs season” like 4real?” [College Hoops Journal]

The English language was found murdered today on a curb outside the University of Washington campus. It had been horribly bludgeoned several times and apparently stepped on by its assailant. Police have no leads.

What’s a badwagon? Is that when your wagon falls apart on the trail to Oregon?
January 4th, 2010 at 3:38 PM
so if the media was kissing his ass would he be on twitter complaining? suck it up.

Isaiah Thomas would probably be peeved that you spelled his name wrong.

You always select either doctor or blacksmith as your occupation in that game. As a doctor you can cure Mary when she gets dysentery, but as a blacksmith you can repair your wagon with one of the extra wagon tongues you brought.
/Oregon Trail=best computer game ever.

it is what you sit on when tyou get dysentery..i think

It’s good to know the English language is in good hands.
/Reason #4,456,846 why Twitter blows.

This day blows. I’m getting the hell outta here before 4:30 and hitting the gym to punish my body and take my mind off shit. Lawdy, lawdy.

You have to talk like that on twitter. You only get 140 characters. And it appears he wanted to get more than that off his chest. But what I wanna know is why athlete’s even use twitter. There is never a positive story involving an athlete and twitter

Did they get rid of that option that lets you send more than one twitter?

Congrats, kid. I think.

You have to talk like that on twitter.
I get the feeling this kid talked and wrote like this well before any of us had ever heard of Twitter. The 140 characters limit is just an excuse to further torture english through laziness.

Fetch – you pumped for tomorrow night? What time is the game?
January 4th, 2010 at 4:13 PM
8 central I believe.
I’m actually really nervous for it. We’ve shown we can hang with Canada, and I think we’re the favorites for gold next year, but it all comes down to how well Lee plays.
