TNT: 40 games in 40 nights

Sorry we didn’t want to show something that gets low ratings.
Sincerely,
ESPN PR

ESPN/ESPN2. It’s quite simple, and I don’t think anything’s wrong with it.
I bet if NBC could have moved the Bucks/Pacers series to CNBC, they would have done it.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:38 PM
How many playoff baseball games were on FOX before the WS?
February 1st, 2010 at 1:39 PM
i’m thinking they’ll be on espn
February 1st, 2010 at 1:39 PM

February 1st, 2010 at 1:39 PM
I think they should move all eastern conference games to TBS.
TBS: Very funny
February 1st, 2010 at 1:42 PM
However many games the ALCS went with TBS getting the LDS and NLCS

LOL
+32.1 aka Durantula’s PPG in January

plus the ABC/ESPN crew sucks. Who is it? Wilbon, Magic, J Barry, Stu Scott? what a crew that is
February 1st, 2010 at 1:45 PM
Less Mike Breen! More Marv Albert and Kevin Harlan!
February 1st, 2010 at 1:46 PM
Why are we talking about the NBA playoffs, when ESPN sources are saying a 96 team March Madness is a done deal, and could start next year?
February 1st, 2010 at 1:47 PM
Bring back Walton.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:47 PM
This would have never happened if Sal Masekela was still doing sidelines.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:47 PM
uhh yeah http://www.sportsbybrooks.com/source-march-madness-with-96-teams-done-deal-27742
/should point out that i am not sure how reliable SbB is…
February 1st, 2010 at 1:48 PM
forgot Hubie Brown works for ABC. He is good. “now let me tell you…”
February 1st, 2010 at 1:49 PM
SbB is super reliable for tits.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:49 PM
That would be the greatest move in the history of western civilization.

Miss the days of tape delay Finals at 11:30PM
February 1st, 2010 at 1:50 PM
I’ve actually never liked Hubie. He’s the Dick Vitale of the NBA, refuses to shit on anyone.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:50 PM
TNT pwns ESPN/ABC on NBA coverage. From the studio personalities/analysis to the broadcasters to the on-court production. I heart TNT. I actually look forward to Thursday’s in front of the TV. Although, Reggie Miller has started to annoy me.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:51 PM
Great point. What a waste pre/post game and halftime is on ABC. Much rather watch the TNT crew.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:52 PM
one of the more reliable bloggers. that would fucking suck.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:52 PM
I could listen to Hubie talk basketball for hours. I think he’s fantastic. I don’t liken him to Dookie V. at all. That dude was, is and always will be a college basketball fan with a suit, well-known voice and a medium. He’s nothing great.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:54 PM
I miss like 6 years ago (back before N.O. moved to the West) when like 2/3 of the Heat/Hornets series was on NBA TV, back when 15 people had the network. That was almost as bad.

Dr. Jack Ramsay = the best
February 1st, 2010 at 1:54 PM
Christ NCAA, quit fuckin with the wrong sport

that was shitty. I can’t imagine that happening now, except that NBC does it for the Olympics, so I guess I can.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:55 PM
Bring back Dr. Jack, also.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:56 PM
Olympics shouldn’t be taped delay this year…right?
February 1st, 2010 at 1:56 PM
Well done sir, I laughed out loud at my desk on that one.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:56 PM
Great, now they’re fucking with my favorite sport. There is absolutely no desire/need for 96 fucking teams in the tourney.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:59 PM
So…um…this dude is 47. Can someone say HGH?
February 1st, 2010 at 1:59 PM
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
That’s what the NCAA sees here.
Let’s march on Indianapolis. I bet Duffy would lead the way.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:00 PM
ABC never hosts the playoffs, its usually TNT or ESPN.
/ cues NBC’s theme
// still misses NBC’s coverage
/// ABC sucks ass
February 1st, 2010 at 2:00 PM

also fuck the ncaa the next decision they make that i like will be the first one. i really hope this tournament expansion is bullshit.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:01 PM
I don’t know about that Gods. Walker might be one of the greatest athletes of all time.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:01 PM
I wouldn’t put them past the Fakers yet but yes. That doesn’t change the fact that their first round opponent will be a joke in the East.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:01 PM
GoG how dare you, he is that way from hardwork and dedication

Olympics shouldn’t be taped delay this year…right?
I wouldn’t think so, but they will probably have a lot of earlier PST starts for the things like skating and whatever else are the huge ratings draws, so they can get them in East Coast prime-time
February 1st, 2010 at 2:01 PM
So…um…this dude is 47. Can someone say HGH?
that’s who he looked when he was 17. The guy does thousands of situps a day. Thousands, literally. He has always looked like that.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:02 PM
if there’s two things Sports By Brooks is good at, it’s rumors and really hot chicks. He’s the blogger of record out west – he’s a tv/radio personality as well.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:03 PM
Olympics shouldn’t be taped delay this year…right?
I think they’ll do a lot of non-live telecasting, but not as much as ever. And like JPQ says, they’ll make the kids start early.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:03 PM
If there is one thing this country has shown over the past decade, it is that money is the most influential factor in making sports decisions whether the fans are against it or it weakens the sport itself. If this happens I will bitch with the rest of you but it will not stop me from watching.

I have no issue with a 25-year-old looking like that, but at 47? That is insane. I know Herschel was the first black Jesus and all, but damn he’s huge.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:11 PM
the only thing i can really say is that herschel has some SICK genetics.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:11 PM
The last part is all they care about.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:15 PM
yea i guess when it comes down to it i’ll bitch then watch. then not give a fuck. so they get what they want
February 1st, 2010 at 2:15 PM
I know Herschel was the first black Jesus
He’s insane with working out. He was an Olympic alternate bobsledder, a world class sprinter. Did you see him on PTI last week where he was talking about how he used to do Tae Quan Do (or some shit) tournaments on Sunday mornings, after games, in college?
His multiple personalities have made more news lately than his workout regimen, but when it came to light what that guy did in his leisure time, it made big news. Since he was in high school it’s 2500 situps and 1500 pushups a day.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:17 PM
I think he’s like a 5th degree black belt.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:22 PM
Wasn’t he a ballet dancer as well?
February 1st, 2010 at 2:24 PM
Travis Henry has nothing on this man.
February 1st, 2010 at 2:28 PM
Wasn’t he a ballet dancer as well?
I remember that too. Just a physical dynamo.
