Tim Duncan and Urijah Faber: Separated At Birth
MMA, NBA February 4th. 2010, 12:45pm
Former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber attended the Kings-Spurs game last night at his home away from home, ARCO Arena. He caught up with Tim Duncan before the Spurs’ win and they posed for one of those pictures that all fans have to take with fighters – clenched fists. Its super-badass. Faber will co-headline the WEC’s first PPV event in April in ARCO. I have no idea if Duncan – or any fans – will buy the $44.99 PPV.

Is Faber lauded for his fundamentals but ignored for his lack of flash?
/yet to hear Duncan’s name thrown around in the Greatest discussions.

Really, I hear it all the time, though the biggest debate for him in “Greatest Debates” is always whether he is a PF or Center. For the record, I think he is going to go down as the greatest PF of all time.

he’s heavily dependent on others to win
/im going to be roasted for this but its the truth

Duncan has that look on his face like “Am I doing this right? I prefer just to scowl at my enemies”.

The WEC going to a PPV format is an epic fail.

In the age of YouTube, I i find it hard to justify buying PPV’s for anything whether it is boxing, MMA or wrestling.

maybe its just my hate for everything called the spurs. i dont know, ive never seen him go off when his teammates werent playing well. he’ll put up the same numbers regardless. thats my point.

I’m sure many share that feeling jim, to me the “sell” of the PPV is the live factor.

Yeah, putting up a double double every night and making it look effortless is way overrated.

That guy’s chin has more ass than Kimmy K
February 4th, 2010 at 1:21 PM
name a player who hasnt had to have 4 other teammates to win in the nba. timmy does need some other teammates to do some lifting but one thing they dont have to worry about is scoring and rebounding along with a little help defense from down low. timmy is the foundation to their winning without him they dont do shit.

I thought Brittany Murphy died last month?
February 4th, 2010 at 1:25 PM
eh, if his teammates dont play well i dont see him going off. thats just my point

It might be a weird camera angle, but Faber’s fist looks about the same size as Duncan’s.

Faber is going to get fucking wrecked by Aldo.
