George Hill is apologizing to his team, fans, family and girlfriend for some nude pictures he took last year. “A year ago I made a mistake and take full responsibility for my actions. I have matured and learned from this episode.” For those of you that enjoyed last month’s theme of Greg Oden’s member, just wait. Since Hill isn’t a former #1 pick, we might not hear as much about this crank , but don’t be surprised if more junk surfaces.

Michael David Barrett, you’ve got issues. “Also, as he did with victim Andrews, defendant ran “People Searches” (a type of Internet background check that can produce information such as date of birth and home address) on more than 30 other women between Nov. 25, 2006 and July 2, 2009. We’re a few weeks late on the December numbers, but you’ll find them below. All the big boys had a terrific month. Can they thank Tiger Woods? He got in the accident late in November, and there was Tiger news seemingly every day (every hour?) in December. You’d think traffic would slow down around the holidays with everyone taking time off work and spending time with family instead of surfing for sports news … but no. Dan Shaughnessy: Friday in the Boston Globe, he wrote, "Peyton Manning is better than Tom Brady. There. I said it." After Manning threw a pick-six late in the 4th quarter and the Colts lost to the Saints, Shaughnessy changed his tune. "OK, maybe I jumped the gun a little. I got caught up in the moment." Way to treat the printed word as if it were a moment on Around the Horn. When was the last time Shaughnessy wrote something relevant? This officially puts him in Jay Mariotti territory. The Detroit Free Press became “Freep” a few years back. Now? It’s Scott Boras’ PR firm. While other outlets are breaking news, Freep’s John Lowe brings us word, through Scott Boras, that free-agent outfielder Johnny Damon loves Detroit.

She Has No Clue: Remember Susan Finkelstein? She's the nutjob who allegedly offered undercover police officers sex for World Series tickets. (She's quoted as saying, "I love sex. I’m a whore ... I’ll have sex with both of you. I’ll let you DP me.") Anyway, Finkelstein showed up at the "wingbowl" in Philly last week and inexplicably made the decision to wear a very slutty leopard-print catsuit.
