Someone would love that cap room, but to make that deal work, you’d have to give up a lot…
February 10th, 2010 at 8:52 AM
not a fan of the title…
February 10th, 2010 at 8:53 AM
don’t think surprised is the right word. kicked michigan’s state ass would make more sense. but when you host the #6 team in the country, you don’t get surprised.
February 10th, 2010 at 8:56 AM
The family of the 11-year-old need to be examined. Bozeman cop story was very cool. Senate-Volker story was upsetting.
February 10th, 2010 at 8:59 AM
awesome quote.
February 10th, 2010 at 8:59 AM
Looking forward to writing a big fat check for the difference if/when I actually sell my house. Thanks for nothing Bush/Greenspan, you freaking morons.
February 10th, 2010 at 8:59 AM
Agreed. Surprised it was by that much. But, not surprised that Purdue won. Izzo had been preaching a month ago that his team wasn’t as good as its ranking. They had a favorable schedule early in the Big 10.
I said 4 losses would win the Big 10. It might be 5 now. 4 definitely should win it because I don’t think anyone is going undefeated the rest of the way through.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:00 AM
He is guaranteed $19.7 million this year
and i thought Rashard Lewis was overpaid. damn
February 10th, 2010 at 9:00 AM
Buying now. The home I’m trying to buy was purchased for $130,000 more than I’m paying for it 2 years ago.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:01 AM
don’t think im going to get south tomorrow.
any grizzled air travelers think national in dc is gonna be on time tomorrow?
i f’n hate snow.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:02 AM
That’s what Izzo was saying to start the year. Thought we had a chance when Allen cut it to three, but Moore coming right back and draining a triple ended it. Purdue is really good. Don’t know if they can overcome the size factor in the tourney, but that motion offense is pretty.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:04 AM
It’s depressing. Senator Dodd has nothing to lose and he’s still being a coward.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:05 AM
Mark my words, Purdue is going down early in the tourney, to someone very mediocre. Sparty, I generally loathe State, but they will go farther than the ‘Makers this year. Book it.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:06 AM
Holy crap, I’m only out like 25 large, which still sucks. If I just look at it as my price of freedom from Ohio then its worth every penny.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:06 AM
I don’t think air travel will be possible today going into tomorrow in DC. I dont have the news from there, but the storm is doing a number everywhere else. Hows the history there concerning the conditions of the runway?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:07 AM
247, that’s wrong on more levels than I can count. Maybe even more wrong than kissing a dude.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:07 AM
Buying now. The home I’m trying to buy was purchased for $130,000 more than I’m paying for it 2 years ago.
is that a foreclosure?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:07 AM
More overrated white guy, Matt Boldin or Robby Hummel?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:07 AM
No love for the Illini handing Wisconsin their first home loss to an unranked conference foe in something like 50 games? I know the stat is somewhat contrived, but Illinois is heating up significantly.
And the article of Arizona’s violations was excellent; looks like Memphis gets John Calipari Lite with Josh Pastner. Maybe with more seasoning and big0game experience, Pastner too can have a Final Four appearance vacated. Dare to dream!
February 10th, 2010 at 9:07 AM
jeebus…did the owners commit suicide?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:07 AM
all going to depend on how quickly and how much lucas heals. lucious cannot get that many minutes running the point.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:08 AM
.
McCaney has been lethal as of late.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:09 AM
So now we’re spending draft picks based on devout Christian-ism? No thanks. Pass rush, pass rush, pass rush. The Colts defense is as dependent on Dwight Freeney as the offense is on Peyton Manning. And we saw last Sunday and in the 2007 playoff game against San Diego how bad they are against a good QB without him there or fully healthy.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:09 AM
Mark my words, Purdue is going down early in the tourney, to someone very mediocre. Sparty, I generally loathe State, but they will go farther than the ‘Makers this year. Book it.
SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
February 10th, 2010 at 9:09 AM
Miz: That micro-chip thing is the direct result of paranoid Obama-haters thinking the gov’t is trying to brain wash them…and I’m not even kidding. State legislators were getting letters and calls about the micro chip. People are so fucking stupid.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:10 AM
Move on. We’re not supposed to blame them anymore. They were angels and the history books will show as such.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:10 AM
my flight into dc isnt until 5pm tomorrow but usair has slapped an “advisory” and no cost change on flights going into there through 11pm tomorrow.
on hold with us air for 1hour+ …
i guess the runway conditions may not mean as much as actually having a plane there to connect on. i imagine it will take days to sort out this chicago/dc/nyc total cancellation.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:10 AM
I view it in a way that as long as I’m not losing more out of pocket than I would have if I had just rented, I’ll feel ok about it. it may be a stupid way to view it, but it works for me. plus, houses in my area are still selling for an average of 97% of what they were when I bought 2 years ago, so it’s not so bad here yet.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:13 AM
Buying now. The home I’m trying to buy was purchased for $130,000 more than I’m paying for it 2 years ago.

Where I live, housing prices haven’t changed at all. They’ve just stopped selling completely. That worked out fine for us, though.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:15 AM
Close. He died in Vegas.
Still before he passed the house was being forclosed on. They obviously stopped when it went to probate.
Orlando is at the top of forclosure lists…mostly because the housing market exploded in 2003 and prices got out of control. Especially in teh downtown area.
Now that things have come back to earth, it’s a lot more affordable.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:16 AM
Freedom from Ohio is priceless. I only lived there three years…

Bill Polian writes under the name Steve Montana?
FUCK. OFF.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:22 AM
Nah. We didn’t know until after the contract was in. We thought he just left his stuff and ran.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:23 AM
Ha, that’s funny. Even though only one coach’s move worked out, I admire both Belichick and Payton for the decisions they made against Manning. The best way to beat him is to keep him from having the ball. Or hope he happens to throw his first pick six in nearly 1,100 passes.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:23 AM
Outstanding, in-depth read on how the Arizona Wildcats basketball team committed recruiting violations
great read
February 10th, 2010 at 9:24 AM
Crazy GA residents are. People actually took the time to call/write about their fear of getting micro-chipped. They weren’t upset that education funds were being cut. They were afraid of Cartmen’s V-chip. Unreal.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:25 AM
Might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever read.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:27 AM
Anne Hathaway looks like an alien.
Texas homeprices are somewhat steady, but we are playing catch up to the rest of the nation. Took a bit longer to feel the effects of the recession here.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:28 AM
Might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever read.
that was a real piece of shit. He fails to mention that the onsides kick hit a receiver in the face.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:28 AM
like many of us had said on this site for a while, this country is full of idiots but everyone thinks they’re Einstein.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:29 AM
Thanks for nothing Bush/Greenspan, you freaking morons.
I saw something on the local news yesterday, they showed a pic of a billboard somewhere. It was awesome. It was this creepy pic of George W. waving to people, and it read “Miss me yet?” haha
February 10th, 2010 at 9:29 AM
Anne Hathaway looks like an alien
TBL loves pale Anne. is she in that movie starring Dwight Howard? think the movie comes out friday called Valentines Day

February 10th, 2010 at 9:32 AM
happened to me the other day…scariest thing I ever experienced. this white dude in a suit and wingtips ambushed me outside of starbucks last friday morning. he told me he had a great new blackberry app and as soon as I focused in on his phone, he jacked me upside my head with a 350 page design development report. when I woke up, I had a bump on the back of my right hand.

I forgot about the Cavs Finals appearance last year…and the year before that.
63 W’s and no Finals appearance…Soundslike the Suns to me.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:34 AM
guys, there’s a reason i never link Bleacher Report here. even linking it in the comments makes me feel dirty.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:35 AM
frauds vs. cavs tomorrow…can’t wait
saw the Cavs barely beat the Nets last night. what did they win by 7?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:36 AM
GSG that shit was hilarious, IMO. Especially the pic of George W. they used. He looked so creepy with that shit eatin grin on his face
frauds vs. cavs tomorrow…can’t wait.
OH spence, there ya go stirrin up the pot
/looks over shoulder for Irish
February 10th, 2010 at 9:36 AM
Completely agree, that Google News includes it is one of the few bad moves Google has made.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:36 AM
Come on, Spencer. If anything it’s the Magic vs. Frauds tomorrow. Until Cleveland beats them in the playoffs they will be the fraudy-McGee’s.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:37 AM
saw the Cavs barely beat the Nets last night. what did they win by 7?
in all fairness, it was never really that close. Nets never had a chance at winning that game. And come on, the Magic have won every game against sub .500 teams this year, correct Irish? Oh wait….
February 10th, 2010 at 9:37 AM
trey…you also forgot about the magic’s collective gaping, blood belching vagina.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:37 AM
I wish this was the score after the first quarter. I can turn gold to shit, i tell ya.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:37 AM
Getting the Magic on their tail end of a road back-to-back right before the All Star Break probably means another great regular season win for the Cavs.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:38 AM
Anne Hathaway = extremely overrated.
True story.

February 10th, 2010 at 9:39 AM
you forgot “/jacks three.”
February 10th, 2010 at 9:39 AM
4th game in 5 days too.
I’ll start making excuses.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:39 AM
That’s about 40 miles north of me on I-35. Was on the news here last night too.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:39 AM
in other words, It’s the NBA. The most unpredictable professional sports in all of sports. All that matters is the W, other than that, FTW.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:39 AM
4 losses in a row for Orlando at one stretch: Chicago, Indiana, Toronto, Washington…….
February 10th, 2010 at 9:39 AM
I’m certainly no Einstein, but I’m a hell of a lot smarter than anyone who would spend one second worrying about a fucking micro-chip being implanted by the evil government.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:40 AM
I must say, the SI swimsuit issue was one of the best since the Kathy Ireland/Vendela days. Marissa Miller not being in there stings the nostrils, but Brooklyn/Bar/Hillary did just fine.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:40 AM
no one here would throw hathaway out of bed. thats all that matters
February 10th, 2010 at 9:40 AM
I thought we agreed to call him Jameer Nelson?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:40 AM
None of Dwight’s 40 points in game 6 when he absolutely destroyed you…came on a three.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:40 AM
saw the magic give up eleventy trillion points to a bad NO team without CP3 the other night, including 70 in the first half…what’s your point?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:41 AM
Getting the Magic on their tail end of a road back-to-back right before the All Star Break probably means another great regular season win for the Cavs.
Ya geez, makin excuses for an Orlando loss before the game even takes place. Typical.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:41 AM
4 losses in a row for Orlando at one stretch: Chicago, Indiana, Toronto, Washington…….
what does that have to do with the Magic owning the Cavs the past 5 years?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:41 AM
small sample size
/because he was the only magic player that series that had the frottage to travel into the paint
February 10th, 2010 at 9:42 AM
This may be my favorite look-back article ever:
February 10th, 2010 at 9:42 AM
what does the magic owning the cavs the past 5 years have to do with this season where the magic are clearly the most fraudulent team ever to fraud?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:43 AM
no one here would throw hathaway out of bed. thats all that matters
I dont know if that is a real compliment. I would do a bullethole wound if it looked at me kindly.

They usually microchip people at Taco Bell, but this week, it’s at Denny’s during the free grand slam breakfast promotion. (do not eat the pancakes)
February 10th, 2010 at 9:44 AM

February 10th, 2010 at 9:44 AM

how soon we forget the 2009 ECF where the CAVS CHOKED. wake me up when the Cavs beat Orlando in a 7 game series
February 10th, 2010 at 9:44 AM
3rd best record in the NBA…coming off a Finals appearance. Sure.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:44 AM
what does that have to do with the Magic owning the Cavs the past 5 years?
it actually has to do with you making fun of the cavs for winning by 7 last night vs the Nets…..when clearly Orlando couldn’t beat the bottom shelf of teams in the league.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:45 AM
damn you Amphi. I told ya i fucked up.
i’ll give you one of these anyways.

@Irish, what are you expecting out of Vince for this game?
tonight vs Chi- 12 points
thur vs Cleve- 14 points

vince carter? seriously? BWAHAHAHA.

//courtney lee is a STUD…magic shoulda kept him instead of getting vince
February 10th, 2010 at 9:46 AM
Damn it. Shatner beat me.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:46 AM
Yeah, the throw her out of bed line is misleading. We are obviously comparing her looks to other chicks on the roundup. Gotta post another SI swimsuit chick today over her. But Hathaway doesn’t turn heads…
February 10th, 2010 at 9:46 AM
Come on, Mike. I’m pretty sure we could play the “let’s find a (insert party here) asshole who royally fucked up a call” game round and round.
Re: Hathaway
I dig her. She is elegant hot in my opinion.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:47 AM
I guess you can set your alarm for the playoffs this year then
Im more worried about facing the Pistons in the playoffs than the Cavs
February 10th, 2010 at 9:47 AM
Don’t get me started…
February 10th, 2010 at 9:48 AM
Anne Hathaway is a goddess. Though a better picture could have been used.
So pissed I thought school was cancelled because of my friends facebook statuses, turns out theyre just being dicks.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:48 AM
I would love to root for Cleveland over Orlando, but I have zero interest in Shaq piggybacking to title # 5, and then having to hear about his greatness.
So I’ll root against Cleveland every step of the way. That is starting next week, when I decide it’s time to start watching NBA.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:48 AM
And now, from today:
February 10th, 2010 at 9:48 AM
The odds of the Cavs winning 13 straight games has to be almost nil, right? Slim chance they win tomorrow.
/misuse of statistics
//i.e. duffy’d
February 10th, 2010 at 9:48 AM
you can stop worrying. we ain’t making the playoffs.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:49 AM
wake me up when the magic still have a personnel mismatch and maybe i’d take them more seriously this year.
still have a personnel mismatch? i know im not the only one on here to tell you multiple times that Hedo was not the key factor in the ECF last year. or was it Rafer who was blowing by Lebron James all series long?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:50 AM
We were rocked with injuries during those games. While it’s not the greatest excuse, it certainly played a factor into 4 games in (i believe) 6 nights.
The same team has won 8 of their last 10 and they both came on late shots…one at teh buzzer.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:50 AM
But don’t you want to see what company’s hat he’ll be whoring during the Championship parade?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:50 AM

waiting for clown to tell me that there is hope because the pistons play in the leastern conference.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:52 AM
when clearly Orlando couldn’t beat the bottom shelf of teams in the league.
you are right. they have a shitty record vs the top shelf teams too huh Stringer?
February 10th, 2010 at 9:52 AM
I’d kiss a guy
to see Anne Hathaway nude./coop
February 10th, 2010 at 9:52 AM
it wouldn’t matter if hedo was still there…the cavs made the right personnel moves in the offseason, the magic didn’t.
plain. simple.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:53 AM
Im more worried about facing the Pistons in the playoffs than the Cavs
LOL keep tellin yourself that Irish. Whatever makes you feel better about the Cavs steamrolling through the playoffs this year.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:53 AM
Rashard Lewis fucking up Varejo’s world too.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:53 AM
I am wholly in favor of Anne Hathaway. Even when she was singing at the Oscars last year. Even though she sometimes looks like this.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:54 AM
David Stern is on Simmons podcast
February 10th, 2010 at 9:54 AM
you are right. they have a shitty record vs the top shelf teams too huh Stringer?
just proving a point that cavs winning by 7 isn’t a big deal. the magic lost to several shitty teams. and @Trey using excuses of injuries, well our top 2 point guards were hurt last night, and have been, and that’s 12 straight W’s for the Good Guys.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:55 AM
Mike, we have no ned for your financial facts here. We’re trying to determine once and for all if Anne Hathaway is hot.
And the answer is yes. She’s an elegant, natural beauty. Although this out of the last three days, two Round Up pics have awful.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:55 AM

LOL keep tellin yourself that Irish. Whatever makes you feel better about the Cavs steamrolling through the playoffs this year
lol. you can be another over confident Cavs fan on here Stringer. doesnt matter to me. Im confident in the Magic vs the Cavs. not cocky like Cavs fans, but confident
February 10th, 2010 at 9:55 AM
sure was.
good thing they got rid of the other 6′10″ guy who can hit 3’s and stretch a defense so the cavs can just put lebron on rashard the “power forward” and sleep easy.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:56 AM
Irish, way to throw your NBA credibility right out the window.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:56 AM
Ummm…you guys still had number 23 on the floor. And I’m not stupid enough to argue that he’s not the greatest threat in basketball right now.
The Magic, have Dwight, but depend more on spreading the ball around than the Cavs do. Different teams.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:57 AM
it wouldn’t matter if hedo was still there…the cavs made the right personnel moves in the offseason, the magic didn’t.
plain. simple.
you are a Cavs homer. of course you are going to say this. Parker, Moon and Shaq. wow. nothing special lawya
February 10th, 2010 at 9:57 AM
Oh yeah!?! Well at least LeBron takes funny mock photos at the start of the game. The NBA: Love it Live!!
/seriously, he needs to win something before he does that shit
February 10th, 2010 at 9:58 AM
Irish, way to throw your NBA credibility right out the window
it was for Sparty PL. inside joke for the past 3 years
February 10th, 2010 at 9:58 AM
If Anne Hathaway didn’t have huge chesticles we wouldn’t know who she was.
Not hot. Especially for an actress.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:58 AM
no he doesn’t. that shit is fine. dancing on the side while the game is still going on, yeah, he needs to cut that shit out.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:58 AM
last thing to poke and annoy the magic fans…stop pretending like it was some massive blowout the whole series. those games were close as fuck and yall know it.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:58 AM
lol. you can be another over confident Cavs fan on here Stringer. doesnt matter to me. Im confident in the Magic vs the Cavs. not cocky like Cavs fans, but confident
figured that’d get a rise out of you. I obviously don’t think the cavs will roll thru the playoffs. It’s the NBA’s elite teams, it’s not possible to steam roll thru that. Having said that, I’m also confident in the my team vs your team this year.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:59 AM
I’d kick Anne Hathaway out of bed for Jessica Biel though. Although she is an idiot.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:59 AM
Moon’s turn.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:59 AM
good thing they got rid of the other 6′10″ guy who can hit 3’s and stretch a defense
Ryan Anderson will shine vs the Cavs. Umbrellas will be sold at Gund Arena
February 10th, 2010 at 9:59 AM
I choose to believe that the Cavs winning without Mo Williams is not a coincidence.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:59 AM
Sasha Pavlovic’s length used to shut down Vince Carter in playoff series. Seriously. Sasha Pavlovic.
What’s Carter going to do against the size/length of Moon and Parker? Less than he did a few years back … when he could still jump in the fourth quarter.
Everyone forgets last year’s series came down to three last second shots. Orlando made two (Game 1, Game 4) and the Cavs made one (Game 2).
It was a rather close series and I think the Cavs got better in the offseason and Orlando got worse.
JMHO.
/banks in 3
February 10th, 2010 at 10:00 AM
The cause of the housing problem blame trancends political parties, IMO. Granted, the snowball was started by Clinton passing the law in 99 drastically lowering standards to buy a house. But, retail banks took advantage of that law and normal mortgage due diligence flew out the window. Then investment banks/wall street took advantage of the retail banks approving EVERYONE and made investments with Mortgage backed securites. And finally, we the public are dipshits. Alot of murica took advantage of the law and bought houses they really knew they had no business getting into and not factoring in personal budgets 5 years down the road when the ARM reset.
We are all to blame, and honestly, we all probably needed this to rid us of the mentality that we need to collect meaningless shit (via debt).
/sorry for the length of that post
February 10th, 2010 at 10:00 AM
Fine, throw Lebron on Rashard.
You then open the court up for Ryan Anderson!!!!!
February 10th, 2010 at 10:00 AM
my bad
February 10th, 2010 at 10:00 AM
last thing to poke and annoy the magic fans…stop pretending like it was some massive blowout the whole series. those games were close as fuck and yall know it
admit the Cavs choked and we can move on
February 10th, 2010 at 10:01 AM
Has the Brewers constructing a Bud Selig statue been discussed?
February 10th, 2010 at 10:01 AM
nothing special indeed…but they’re working out well, and we don’t have to make excuses about “having to get acclimated to vince’s game.”
and considering they got those guys while only having to give up sasha shitty pavlovic and the corpse of ben wallace instead of sophomore sensation, courtney lee and hedo, well…
February 10th, 2010 at 10:02 AM
yep. A couple of times, too. GOD! ha
February 10th, 2010 at 10:03 AM
We’ll see. I won’t EVER EVER EVER deny that getting rid of Courtney Lee will kick us in the ass in a few years. That being said, locking up Hedo for 5 years would have thrown us in salary cap hell, and not allowed us to sign guys like Barnes and Bass…even though we don’t use Bass. Barnes has been a key shut down defender for us.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:03 AM
cavs choked big time. lebron should’ve shared the ball more. ive been saying this since june.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:03 AM
instead of sophomore sensation, courtney lee and hedo, well
you keep sleeping on Ryan Anderson. im tellinga ya, he will shine vs the Cavs. i’ll send you some $ for an umbrella
February 10th, 2010 at 10:03 AM
i would hammer her to put it nicely
February 10th, 2010 at 10:04 AM
Herd saying blogs should rip the Bleacher Report article.
I thought he read the site?
February 10th, 2010 at 10:04 AM
you’re right…a long term contract for hedo would’ve been an awful idea.
the NBA needs some version of the franchise tag.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:04 AM
You then open the court up for Ryan Anderson!!!!!
LOL now that’s good stuff right there. He’s got talent for sure, but I don’t see him stepping up liek Hedo did. What ever happened to him anyways? He started off the season so hot, so hot that I picked him up on my fantasy bball team cuz he didn’t miss 3’s, now i never even hear his name
February 10th, 2010 at 10:05 AM
Ryan Anderson is the reason Brandon Bass isn’t playing.
The guy has been solid.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:05 AM
Courtney Lee is massively overrated.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:05 AM
im not sleeping on him at all, but i appreciate the umbrella.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:05 AM
I look forward to Irish’s rendition of Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’
February 10th, 2010 at 10:06 AM
I’d kick Anne Hathaway out of bed for Jessica Biel though. Although she is an idiot.
I would kick everyone out of bed for Jessica Biel and her wonderful toilet. Except Jen Aniston and Brooklyn.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:06 AM
i completely disagree. the guy is an extremely solid 2-guard now…and he’s only gonna get better.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:06 AM
you’re right…a long term contract for hedo would’ve been an awful idea
it would have been spencer. cmon we all love MJOT, but he isnt worth that dough. VC for one more year
February 10th, 2010 at 10:07 AM
He saw a lot more minutes when we had guys down. I think you’ll see him worked back into the rotation after the All-Star break.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:07 AM
Both can pose match-up problems on Vince. Once again, Cleveland deep enough to just plug guys in. I really can’t talk shit because we have proven to be a regular season ball club. We are deep this year, really deep. Jawad Williams, bitches.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:07 AM
Courtney Lee is massively overrated
whoa whoa whoa. Sophomore sensation C Lee is a fucking star in the making. he is just on a shitty team
February 10th, 2010 at 10:08 AM
ive said this many times but there needs to be something done with that salary cap. OR salaries need to be lowered. its ridiculous for a guy to make 23 million when the salary cap is 57.7 million. it makes it impossible for anyone to improve their teams via free agency, trades (without making the contracts match)…thats another stupid rule. what do i know? i dont follow it as much as you do. help me out here
February 10th, 2010 at 10:08 AM
Jawad Williams, bitches.
/St. Ed’s’d
February 10th, 2010 at 10:09 AM
i think as long as you’re willing to pay the luxury tax, you should be able to sign anyone you want
February 10th, 2010 at 10:09 AM
courtney lee was about the 10th best player on the magic last year
February 10th, 2010 at 10:10 AM
Aniston, really? Interesting. You mean like, 90’s Aniston?
February 10th, 2010 at 10:10 AM
He was asking for over 10Mil per, for 5 years…That means a guy averaging 14 points would be killing our cap at the age of 36…We already have ONE Rashard Lewis Contract, and Dwight will be in the prime of his career when that contract would come up.
With the stupid idea of a Salary Cap, it made more sense to get Vince for two and have the cop open in two years.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:10 AM
You shut your mouth about Western Kentucky’s best player in history!
February 10th, 2010 at 10:10 AM
So after a lot of research I believe Brooklyn made slight adjustments to those works of art. It would be the equivalent of Harrison Ford only giving it one “enhance” in Bladerunner. Of course she is still fantastic.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:10 AM
Vince is better player than Hedo though its close. At that contract VC is better option.
O town needs jameer to play better. They are deeper than last year.
what is with the Courtney Lee love, nothing special
February 10th, 2010 at 10:10 AM
I thought Williams was just a flash in the pan the first couple weeks. This muthafucka can shoot the pill. Of course LeBron helps getting him open looks. Guy always seems to be on an island when shooting the rock.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:11 AM
Courtney Lee = Rip Hamilton on the Wizards. not nearly the shooter, but a very solid 2 guard who will be incredibly efficient with the right pieces around him.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:11 AM
Exactly. Plenty of shots to go around on such a shitty team. The problem is he isn’t making any of them.
If he was a star in the making, he’d be doing better than 11 PPG on 41/30.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:11 AM
That’s just stupid. Did you forget the Philadelphia series when he was the only one who could create his own shot?
February 10th, 2010 at 10:12 AM
Lies.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:12 AM
@Cleet, 59 is for you.
End up working?
February 10th, 2010 at 10:13 AM
vince is a better player than hedo, but he’s not a better fit for this magic team…that’s the difference.
and MJOT’s contract demands weren’t unreasonable, but the fact that the magic are wildly over paying for shard is the big problem. if both those guys were getting market value, they’d be able to be on the same team…it’s just that shard is so overpaid.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:13 AM
courtney lee was about the 10th best player on the magic last year
@duder- at least you and i agree who the best player was last year
what is with the Courtney Lee love, nothing special
ha
February 10th, 2010 at 10:15 AM
If he was a star in the making, he’d be doing better than 11 PPG on 41/30
stats lie Rusty. C Lee will always be one of my fave players. watched him in college down here in Tampa for the NCAA tourney and then he gets drafted to my fave team. Kid was good last year in my eyes. he made a name for himself i thought last year
February 10th, 2010 at 10:15 AM
Wildly is kind.
Otis Smith is a solid GM, but I still don’t get why he offered a max deal to a guy on a team that wasn’t going to pay him because they were rebuilding and jumping ship.
He sites the Clippers, but NFW the Clips pay a free agent that much.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:16 AM
Nope, Slept til 10, thank the lord there is already like 4 inches on the ground and it is gonna get mcnasty this afternoon. Got plenty of provisions and Zombieland on DVD, today will be a good day.
/Future tense Ice Cube’d
/Will not get a beep from Kim though
February 10th, 2010 at 10:16 AM
Orlando didn’t need Lee, they’ve got JJ Redick!
February 10th, 2010 at 10:17 AM
Sure but Shard much better than hedo if you are only going to pay for one of them.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:18 AM
Even if Lakers beat the Thunder soesn’t flow, that song is a classic that stands the test of time.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:19 AM
Roscoe P. Wojohowski?
February 10th, 2010 at 10:19 AM
Orlando didn’t need Lee, they’ve got JJ Redick!
remember when he was bitching about wanted to be traded? he said recently that he wants to stay with the Magic. he will be a restricted FA at the end of the season
February 10th, 2010 at 10:19 AM
I’m like Dexter Strickland, going just a bit too fast.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:19 AM
Aniston, really? Interesting. You mean like, 90’s Aniston?
I mean anytime aniston, mainly right now aniston. I hate february and its lack of good sports.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:20 AM
of course…but the problem is you shouldn’t HAVE to make a decision between the two if they were getting market value.
there’s no reason shard should be getting that kind of skrilla.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:21 AM
No going to lie, JJ has worked out well. He was very good in that Celtics series last year.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:22 AM
I agree Trey. would love to see him stay with Orlando. future starting 2 guard when VC is done i think
February 10th, 2010 at 10:25 AM
Oh no, a Lost post is up….looks like were stuck in here for a little bit longer.
@Irish – I’m sure I know this answer, just curious tho, C Lee, or JJ as the 2 guard of the future? Which would u prefer
February 10th, 2010 at 10:27 AM
good question Stringer. Today, i would have to go with all world shooter JJ Redick. underrated defender too
February 10th, 2010 at 10:28 AM
anthony randolph is out for the year?
damn shame.

summer league hall of famer. always next year
February 10th, 2010 at 10:32 AM
anthony randolph is out for the year?
Shit, that is a damn shame…..he needs out of GS, as I wish Steph Curry could find his way out of GS, which is not very likely. Wish the Knicks coulda drafted him.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:32 AM
@Irish – I’m sure I know this answer, just curious tho, C Lee, or JJ as the 2 guard of the future? Which would u prefer
courtney lee by a country mile.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:34 AM
Did anyone hear Golic this morning talking about Bill Romanowski being a weight/conditioning coach for Redskins?
Golice thought it would be a good idea because Romanowski “was a work out fiend before he used steroids” and that he would not think Romanowski would suggest steroids to ” a struggling player”.
What is the color of the sky in his world?

What is it with uppity fans of eastern conference teams thinking what they do against each other matters at all when it comes to winning the title?
You are all rooting for teams that are competing for the title of Finals loser. Kobe gets #5 this year and myopic cleavelanders will have another reason to commit suicide.
