Izzo is a major flirt – ask Steve Mariucci, ha! – and we’ve heard from sources that he had more than one meeting with Oregon “people” regarding the Ducks’ coaching job. Ultimately, Izzo passed – nobody thought he would take it, but it seems like he enjoys being courted. The Spartans are coming off a Final Four trip, have the 2nd best team in the country, and Izzo is a deity in East Lansing. It’s tough to imagine him going to the NBA right now.
