Brazilian Goalkeeper May Have Murdered Girlfriend, Fed Her to Dogs

Eliza Samudio, 25, was abducted from a Rio de Janeiro hotel and strangled. Her remains were cut up, fed to dogs and buried under concrete. The 25-year-old Flamengo star was taken into custody, along with his wife and several friends. Fernandes “expressed regret,” because the allegations could hurt his chance to play for Brazil in the 2014 World Cup. (BBC News)
