Saw Inception over the weekend. The phrase “visually arresting” doesn’t quite do Christopher Nolan’s movie justice; we highly recommend you see it (even though not everyone loves it). Leo DiCaprio is great as usual. But he’s been in close to a dozen really good movies in the last 20 years. Does Inception crack his Top 5? Nope. You are sure to disagree. Here’s what we’ve got (no order):

Departed (Gun-to-head, our favorite DiCaprio movie.)

Blood Diamond

Basketball Diaries (Nice work by Brittany Daniel in this scene.)

Body of Lies. (Not sure why so many people didn’t like this movie. Totally underrated.)

Gangs of New York

* Note – Still have not seen Aviator. Liked the Beach. Didn’t like Revolutionary Road. Liked Catch Me if You Can. Thought Shutter Island was pretty bad except the ending was pretty cool.
