Presbyterian Trick Play Against Wake Forest
College Football, Video September 4th. 2010, 9:00amThis was from Thursday night’s clash of equals between Presbyterian and Wake Forest. The Presbyterians haven’t been this frisky since the Disruption of 1843. I believe the technical term for the play is a “Bounce Rooski.” Nebraska famously called it against Oklahoma in 1982. Takes more cojones to do that in the midst of a heated rivalry game. Video after the jump.

Great play. How many botched attempts will we see in the next two years as teams try to recreate it.
Also, how many late hit calls will teams get for jacking a WR if it looks like this play?

that is a great play. got hope of a true bounce for it to work, like wally implies. from the looks of it, oklahoma players didn’t really look to be fooled by it. dlinemen in the nfl always play any throw near the line of scrimmage as a possible lateral. you see them scooping up incomplete screen plays all the time, just in case.

Al Toon, bitches!

Ha, watched the entire video…I knew about the play as it is the stuff of legend here, had no idea it was followed by a missed extra point and then the defense let Tony Eason march the Illini to a FG in under a minute, those were the dark days for the program

If only Packers management had taken heed to this…wonder how they won 4 games in 1986

heard analysis on SC where Crist replacing Claussen was compared to Gilbert and Brantley replacing McCoy and Tebow. If we are going to be that stupid can we talk about whoever replaces Tyler Sheehan at Bowling Green?

Cindy Sheehan? I would love to see that bitch get knocked the fuck out. Actually I would prefer she just die in a car fire.

Love how that garbage 2008 team beat Wisconsin.
BTW this is the original and still the best.

I’ve been reading this site for years, but this post finally made me decide to register. I was at this game…. and this play happened when I was in the bathroom…. yep suffered through a horrible game and missed the one redeemable play of the game. In the bathroom listening to the radio feed…
September 4th, 2010 at 10:25 AM
Go Hawks.
September 4th, 2010 at 10:26 AM
The 2008 Wisconsin team was pretty garbage too…nice to see things have changed for one of those programs since that game
September 4th, 2010 at 10:28 AM
Alright, that yakkity-sax video is pretty good…can’t believe that ND team still made the BCS, was like stealing betting LSU -8
