Shut the hell up and fight him you fraud.
Nice.

Couldn’t have put it any better
September 5th, 2010 at 12:51 PM
Did Jesse Jackson go on the air and demand a sit-down with him?
/I’m guessing “no”
September 5th, 2010 at 12:58 PM
bring back Darrell. He’s the only person who would defend Money Mayweather. He’d tell us how scared Pacquaio is.

bring back Darrell

I need to watch more Robert Redford movies. If it wasn’t for James Gandolfini being awful, the Last Castle would be a great movie instead of a good movie.
Any suggestions from the older generation?
Oh, and Mayweather is a clown.
September 5th, 2010 at 1:15 PM
Ah yes, the phony ass apology. Yet most Americans will just lap it up.
Yet Don Imus is still a racist, eh Rev. Al?

The Horse Whisperer.
The Great Gatsby.
Lions for Lambs.
The Way we Were.
Indecent Proposal.
September 5th, 2010 at 1:18 PM
Thanks Taguchi. I’ve never seen Great Gatsby. Gonna see if Netflix has that on the instant que.

“You see, I can’t be racist because I pay all these guys to work for me!”
September 5th, 2010 at 1:19 PM
SC
Jeremiah Johnson is damn good
September 5th, 2010 at 1:21 PM
You could also watch a few Twilight Zone episodes for some Redford.
September 5th, 2010 at 1:22 PM
awesome stuff right there
September 5th, 2010 at 1:26 PM
Who cares about boxing?
It’s been proven in the ring that MMA is better anyway.

//Couture v. Toney was a fucking joke

Looks like it’s going to be Robert Redford week at the SC household. Just added all these movies to the Netflix. They’ve got 11 volumes of the Twilight Zone. I’ll sift through them at some point for the Redford ones.
Thanks guys!

SC: in addition, add The Sting and The Candidate, off the top of my head
September 5th, 2010 at 1:31 PM
Bob’s the bomb. There was actually a photo of Brad Pitt I saw the other day where it looks like he’s aging into a carbon copy of Redford.
/good for Brad

Doh! The Natural!

Brubaker, and fast. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is awesome. Even Sneakers is good.

Out of Africa FTW!!!
Bob and Meryl make movie magic!
September 5th, 2010 at 1:35 PM
Barefoot in the Park I’m not recommending, because it’s a straight up romance, but Jane Fonda was once an incredibly beautiful woman. Easy a dime and a nickel.
September 5th, 2010 at 1:36 PM
Bob and Meryl make movie magic!
more straight up romance.
September 5th, 2010 at 1:37 PM
1. Darrell never left
2. I kind of find Mayweather’s James Watt’esque apology sort of funny.
3. I find the whole ” I’m White and I can’t be racist” victimization comments even funnier.
4. Money would give Pacquio a boxing lesson.

What dirt said, plus All the President’s Men, Spy Game, 3 Days of the Condor
September 5th, 2010 at 1:38 PM
they needed someone who had first hand knowledge of 1950s baseball?
September 5th, 2010 at 1:42 PM
3 Days of the Condor is on instant! Yes! Got my afternoon entertainment lined up.
September 5th, 2010 at 1:43 PM
Any Redford list must start with The Sting, Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid and All the President’s Men.
And Mayweather is using up whatever good will I had for him fast. He better stop ducking Pacquiao and take the whupping that is coming his way like a man.
September 5th, 2010 at 1:43 PM
No, they needed someone who can enjoy baseball for what it is, and not try to turn every discussion into a stat lovers dick measuring contest
September 5th, 2010 at 1:43 PM
The Electric Horseman is good as well.
/Jane Fonda is one fine piece of ass in it
September 5th, 2010 at 1:44 PM
last night I saw Maria Kirilenko play tennis against Svetlana Kuznetsova. What a huge disparity between pretty and ugly.
September 5th, 2010 at 1:44 PM
Mayweather is a douche and now he can add racist before that title. For a guy who says he will beat Pacman’s ass he sure has a hard time getting in the ring to prove it.
September 5th, 2010 at 1:45 PM
1. Darrell never left
really? That’s you? I never would have guessed that you were that big of a fan of Sandlot.

for sheer Jane Fonda hotness (but not Robert Redford) you have to watch Barbarella, which I’m not saying is a good movie. It’s very similar to Flash Gordon, except even stupider. But that woman is unbelievable.

Everyone already knew beforehand that Mayweather was fighting only twice this year. Arum took advantage of the fact that there are enough gullible people out there that would actually believe that he and Manny are in a position to set deadlines and guidelines. Anyone wonder why the two options for Manny to fight, Cotto and Margarito, who also happen to both be Arum fighters? It’s business and you dudes are viewing it through your emotions.
September 5th, 2010 at 2:11 PM
ok, now i really believe it’s Darrell.
September 5th, 2010 at 2:20 PM
Nothing wrong with business posturing, but Mayweather only fought once this year. The racist rants are inexcusable, but that comes with surrounding yourself with yes-men ever since you won a bronze medal.
