SEC Radio Caller is the Best
College Football, Fans October 27th. 2010, 6:02pm
This almost seems too good to be true, but the reader who sent us this link on twitter swears it’s real. It’s audio of an SEC football fan, traveling to the left coast for “business,” calling in to a radio show and blasting the hosts, Pac-10 football, Oregon’s schedule, LaMichael James, President Obama and just about everything else under the sun. It sounds exactly like a random SEC football fan you might run into on the street. Perhaps the greatest line: “Spurrier is a shifty one.” [95.5 the Game]

The caller has a similar voice to Senator Tankerball from Mr. Show. Did Bob Odenkirk make this call?

This is hilarious:

Oops, make that Senator Tankerbell.
For what it’s worth, 95.5 the Fan is KXTG/Portland, OR.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:12 PM
At first I thought this was HuskerDawg until he claimed to be a Bama man
October 27th, 2010 at 6:14 PM
“Spurrier’s a shifty one.”
“Scuzzlebutt.”
“The NFL can’t even drop a bucket in the SEC.”
“Hullygully football.”
October 27th, 2010 at 6:16 PM
“Well if you needed another reason to hate SEC football, there’s one”
Ha, well I didn’t but it’s still appreciated
October 27th, 2010 at 6:20 PM

October 27th, 2010 at 6:21 PM

October 27th, 2010 at 6:24 PM

October 27th, 2010 at 6:25 PM

October 27th, 2010 at 6:25 PM
“I’m a bama man myself”
Naw, you dont say. Fantastic clip.
Awesome, I will now read every comment he leaves with this hick whine accent.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:25 PM
SEC Guy is a frequent caller to Shane and Jacob on 1560 The Game in Houston. Glad to see he’s sharing his SEC myopia with the West Coast.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:27 PM
This just in from Canadian Press: Winnipeg police arrest former junior hockey coach Graham James at Toronto airport on sex charges.
Lock that fucker up and throw away the key.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:28 PM
He claimed all the SEC national titles (and Heisman trophies). And people tell me that doesn’t happen.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:28 PM
“stick with the biblical names” haha awesome.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:29 PM
Have to love the opening line, a) you don’t have a good show. Classic.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:33 PM
By the way, these hosts are terrible. I would have embarrassed this clown.
/sorry Clown
October 27th, 2010 at 6:33 PM
Best character on the radio. Don’t mean to burst your bubble…
October 27th, 2010 at 6:38 PM
By the way, these hosts are terrible. I would have embarrassed this clown.
/sorry Clown
Based on the things you tweet that have been posted here, I would say, no.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:40 PM
I listened to this twice, I missed the Obama line both times.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:41 PM
Reasons I hate the South even those 3/4 of my family is from there – and I’m from Virginia.
Everything about this is rich. The mention of the President, the “Biblical names” ridiculousness, “the drop a bucket in the SEC by the NFL comment,” “Ryan Mallet is the only QB worse than Masoli in the SEC [!!!],” and the best is the “and you know Spurrier is a shifty one” as the explanation for the Gamecocks beating ‘Bama.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:46 PM
+1,000
October 27th, 2010 at 6:46 PM
“You know what we have in ‘Bama – Trent and Mark. Number 1, Number 2. That’s it. Both of ‘em could win a Heisman trophy if they was just single running backs like Luh-Michael has playin against little kids like you got in that conference!”
October 27th, 2010 at 6:47 PM
it’s on?
you got served?
October 27th, 2010 at 6:50 PM
remind me to never get medical care in the South.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:50 PM
Family Practitioner my ass, that was Buford T. Justice.
“Nobody, and I mean NOBODY makes Sheriff Buford T. Justice look like a possum’s pecker.”
October 27th, 2010 at 6:51 PM
the radio host said the pac 10 has the most players in the nfl. theyre 5th.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:52 PM
Why would you operate under the assumption most Southerners are smart enuf to qualify for med school let alone complete it?
October 27th, 2010 at 6:52 PM
The caller has a similar voice to Senator Tankerbell from Mr. Show. Did Bob Odenkirk make this call?
I was titillated.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:53 PM
Doctors at Georgia Tech saved King Kong, fetch, isn’t that enough of a ringing endorsement for you? Am I the only one that knows what I’m talking about? I can not express clearly enough the depths of my disappointment that this radio station’s website is inaccessible to me at work
October 27th, 2010 at 6:54 PM
I can just see the producer of this shitty radio show giving these moron DJ’s the “stretch it out” sign. This is awesome.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:56 PM
fetch Emory-Crawford Long is a top notch facility, as is St. Joseph’s, but continue on with your broad brush painting.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:57 PM
This + infinity!
/oh wait
October 27th, 2010 at 6:58 PM
I just got to the part where the deep voiced black guy finally gets angry.
October 27th, 2010 at 7:01 PM
everyone that comments here from the south sounds just like that in my head
October 27th, 2010 at 7:03 PM
I didn’t catch it either. What did he say?
October 27th, 2010 at 7:06 PM
One of the hosts of this show (Chad) made his name calling into Jim Rome.
October 27th, 2010 at 7:06 PM
I didn’t catch it either. What did he say?
something nonsensical equating Obama being in office with Oregon’s desire to be ranked #1, and also called him a $ocail1$t. Nonsensical, with a drawl.
October 27th, 2010 at 7:06 PM
It’s just a touch of humor from the nearly Canadian fetch…does anyone actually believe that this guy is a licensed physician?
October 27th, 2010 at 7:07 PM
He pronounces his name like Alabama-Ala+O=Obama
/sorry for the math
October 27th, 2010 at 7:09 PM
does anyone actually believe that this guy is a licensed physician?
Maybe he went to Rand Paul’s school
October 27th, 2010 at 8:13 PM
This is Lance Zierlein. He’s a radio personality on 1560 The Game radio station here in Houston….his SEC guy is classic.
http://www.1560thegame.com/media/?page_id=85
October 27th, 2010 at 8:14 PM
From the 1560 web-site….
Lance is famous for his legendary meltdowns on-air and his imitations including John Rocker, Mack Brown, Charles Barkley, Lou Holtz and Oscar De La Hoya. He is also the creator of “SEC Guy”.
October 27th, 2010 at 9:27 PM
No freaking way the Pac-10 has more NFL guys than the SEC.
Also, this sounds like every day on the Finebaum show.
October 27th, 2010 at 10:37 PM
More SEC Guy for your listening enjoyment….

That’s the Hillbilly who raped Ned Beatty in Deliverance.
October 28th, 2010 at 8:02 AM
Actually it’s Sean, not Chad, and the name of the show is the Sean and John show, not Shane and Jacob.
October 28th, 2010 at 9:44 AM
When I was growing up we used to take him to school on show-and-tell day. He is an expert on all things genteel, Hoop Cheese, Moon Pies and SEC Football. Just don’t bring up Johnny Musso.
October 28th, 2010 at 10:02 AM
This is a comedy bit that a comedian does.
October 28th, 2010 at 11:13 AM
SEC Guy would respectfully disagree about the name of the show he calls into on 1560. He’s never heard of Sean, John, and Kyle, but is very familiar with Shane, Jakoob, and Kevin. Goodbye!
October 29th, 2010 at 1:33 AM
Actually it’s Sean, not Chad, and the name of the show is the Sean and John show, not Shane and Jacob.
Hacker, not a single damn word of what you wrote was a correction. S.F. longhorns…Actually it is Chad in Portland,(host of this show)who also used to call Jim Rome’s show.
October 29th, 2010 at 8:30 AM
My bad. I misread the original comment. Sean from the Sean and John show won Rome’s “smack off” several times, I believe. I thought that’s what the commenter was referring to.
