Yankees GM Brian Cashman spent his Friday afternoon scaling a 22-story building in Stamford, Connecticut, in preparation for a holiday show with Santa that will take place tomorrow. Come show time, the spunky little fella will be dressed as an elf. Must be a big sense of relief for him that they’re not making him be the Red Rooster.

Considering the dude never sleeps and often lives in a state of paranoia, it’s relatively impressive he’s doing volunteer work like this in his spare time. Apparently seeing the same event last year was the inspiration to get involved with the festivities this year.

“I was thinking of the Batman and Robin stuff,” Cashman said. “It’s pretty incredible. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime. I wouldn’t let any players do that. I’m replaceable.”

According to the report, he wore reindeer antlers while practicing yesterday, but they sadly cannot be seen in the provided photo. Even more disappointing? That spiked hair with frosted tips is just a wig.
