Tonight the UFC brings us a free card on Versus. The location of tonight’s event is the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Enough can’t be said about the KFC Yum! Center which has to be the best name of any stadium in all of professional sports. I mean, when you buy the naming rights to a stadium, feel free to do whatever you want, but anytime an exclamation point is involved…

Martin Kampmann (17-4, 8-3 UFC) vs. Diego Sanchez (22-4, 11-4 UFC)
In the UFC’s welterweight division, there’s Georges St. Pierre and then there’s everyone else. There are a bunch of notable names in the “everyone else” category and these guys are both everybody elses. Diego says he is ready and motivated. He’s even quoting Charlie Sheen on Twitter. Kampmann is coming off a loss to Jake Shields.

C.B. Dollaway (11-2, 5-2 UFC) vs. Mark Muñoz (9-2, 4-2 UFC)
Dollaway’s wrestling and submissions versus Muñoz’s brawling style. I really like both these guys and see them being an important part of the middleweight division for a while. I’m honestly pulling for either guy to put on a dominating performance with their chosen skill set.

Alessio Sakara (15-7, 1nc, 6-4, 1nc UFC) vs. Chris Weidman (4-0, UFC Debut)
Sakara has a ton of experience in the UFC, even if he’s never fought any of the upper-level fighters. Weidman is the third guy scheduled to fight Sakara tonight after both Maiquel Falcao (who I was really excited to see again) and Rafael Natal both pulled out of the bout. It’s a tough draw for Weidman in his debut. Sakara isn’t a bad guy to come into the UFC against, but it’ll be interesting to see how Weidman reacts to the bright lights of a televised bout in just his 5th professional fight.

Brian Bowles (8-1, UFC Debut) vs. Damacio Page (15-5, UFC Debut)
Two WEC guys making their official UFC debuts. Bowles was the bantamweight champion when he became the first guy to beat Miguel Torres in 6 years. It should be an exciting little war. Most WEC fights are. The only thing that will be weird is hearing someone besides Joe Martinez say Brian Bowles name. Its ingrained in my head and I can’t not hear him when I read Bowles’ name. I wonder how Bowles hair will look. Hopefully, its quite Bieberish. It will help the event trend.

There’s also a Free Prelim card on Facebook. This will be the first time that a prelim show will be aired before a free broadcast. In addition, there will be both a pre (8pm) and post-fight show (11:30) on Versus. Enough can’t be said about that. With MMA Live on at like 3am every other Tuesday, I don’t often catch any MMA-related shows. I wish Spike would put together a show or Versus would do pre and post fight stuff on PPV nights. Or, it would also be cool if Fightlinker were still alive.

Danny Castillo (10-3, UFC Debut) vs. Joe Stevenson (31-12, 8-6 UFC)
Cyrille Diabate (16-7-1, 1-1 UFC) vs. Steve Cantwell (7-3, 1-2 UFC)

PRELIMINARY CARD (un-aired)
Shane Roller vs. Thiago Tavares
Reuben Duran vs. Takeya Mizugaki
Rob Kimmons and Dongi Yang
Dave Branch vs. Rousimar Palhares
Todd Brown vs. Igor Pokrajac
