Jacob Tucker Won The NCAA Dunk Contest
College Basketball, Video April 1st. 2011, 2:10pmLast month we introduced you to Jacob Tucker, the 5’11″ Illinois College senior with the 50″ vertical jump who wanted to be in the NCAA dunk contest. His spectacular YouTube compilation worked and he got to compete. While it looks like two of his better dunks were unsuccessful (Was that a 360-degree East Bay Funk Dunk attempt?) he managed to win the contest with a bunch of 50′s that left Karl Malone jumping around.

And also interesting, William Jennings Bryan went to Illinois College. Pretty easily the most famous alumnus of that school.

Ok, well to be clear… I don’t hate Roy the person, I root against Roy the Phillie. I think he’s a great pitcher but I have to root against him because he doesn’t play for the Giants, he’s competition for Timmy’s Cy Young collection, and the Phillies are a legit contender so the worse they do the better.
