UFC 129: Lyoto Machida’s Jumping Front Kick KO That Retired Randy Couture

All along, Randy Couture said that tonight would be his final fight. Lyoto Machida helped enforce that decision with a ridiculous front kick knockout of Couture in the first round. (Gif below) It is the second time that Steven Seagal has accompanied a Brazilian fighter to the ring and the second time that a fighter has used a front kick to destroy an opponent. Seagal and protege Anderson Silva were seen celebrating Machida’s KO.

It was better than Anderson’s. Not bigger, but better. The wax on/wax off hands then the little shuffle and the fake…damn. Sooo pretty. And I pretty much hated Machida before this fight.
