Andy Murray Wishes His Mom Would Quit Drooling Over Tennis Rival Feliciano Lopez
Athletes and Celebrities, Tennis June 27th. 2011, 10:20am
For those of you who thought your parents were obligated to quit embarrassing you in high school, here’s a recent tweet from Judy Murray, the mother of the No. 4 ranked tennis player in the world, Andy Murray:
Oooooooooh Deliciano……..looking good out there. As always.
She’s referring to Feliciano Lopez, a 29-year-old Spanish tennis player (he eliminated Andy Roddick last week). There’s a chance Murray could face Lopez in the quarterfinals. His mother’s comments will be an obvious subplot, especially considering Murray had this to say when reporters asked him about them:
“I think it’s about time she stopped that nonsense. Makes me want to throw up. It’s disgusting.”
“I was practicing with him before the tournament and my mum was on the side. I shouted across the net, I said, ‘Feli, if we sit down for a drink, could you take a picture with my mum, because she thinks you’re beautiful?’
“She went bright red. Refused to take the picture. Quite funny. Not like her.”
I’d never heard of Lopez (he’s never won a Grand Slam event, or even reached the semifinals of one), and thought Rafael Nadal got all the girls in tennis … but apparently, Lopez does OK for himself. It appears his last girlfriend was model Maria Jose Suarez, and here’s a photo of her:

Andy Murray’s mom looks like James Cromwell. And the chick sitting next to her looks like 90′s Alanis Morrisette.

I don’t agree with either one, but I still found this funny.

I think the mom looks more like James Carville with hair

murray’s mom = janet reno played by will ferrell

Would she go down on him in a theatre?

A little too ironic.

HA!

A little too ironic.
My 8th grade English teacher played this song in class when he was trying to explain the literary importance of irony. I wish I was making this up.
/he made up for it by being able to quote any part of A Fish Called Wanda in the middle of class.

No, no you don’t. I grew up with those diesel belching, no shocks, 3 wheeler hunks of shit.

Fights begin, finger prints are took, days is lost, bail is made, court dates are ignored, cycle is repeated. Insert Maria Suarez picture above mirror in thunderbird rearview to appease moonshine gods for plentiful harvest

interesting…I was under the impression that rickshaws were powered by sauced bums, not diesels.
June 27th, 2011 at 10:47 AM
I think spencer means the human powered type of rickshaw. Not the motorized ones.
June 27th, 2011 at 10:48 AM
yea. i want the poor and disadvantaged to haul me about town…im burning a sick day because my car’s cpu won’t read the chip in my key and locked the engine. gotta get it towed to the dealer just to get it reset. burning a sick day with beautiful golf weather for this? fuck that.
June 27th, 2011 at 10:51 AM
I would probably ride rickshaws more if they were equipped with a whip.
June 27th, 2011 at 10:51 AM
shock collar.
June 27th, 2011 at 10:52 AM
Instead of rickshaws, I would prefer a sedan chair.

diesel powered ones

speaking of human powered transport, i always thought it’d be cool to be carried around on a moving moshpit of slaves on top of a giant throne like xerxes in 300.
that or an m1abrams. saw this doc on it where they drove 35 mph over this massive series of speedbumps and didn’t feel a jolt at all. shit was crazy.

The maintenance on that thing is a bitch though. The tracks wear out easily on roadways and have to be replaced constantly. That’s why you see tanks on railroads or trucks for long transport. Also, they get about 1 mile per gallon. So there’s that.
/but they are awesome.
June 27th, 2011 at 11:01 AM
yea…270 mile range.
and yes…very awesome.
