Bill Belichick Making Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches on a Cooking Show in Cleveland? Ok.
Food, NFL August 4th. 2011, 1:38pmYears before Bill Belichick was guiding the Patriots to four Super Bowl titles, he was a struggling coach with the Cleveland Browns. And at some point during his stint in Ohio (1991-1995), he appeared on some type of cooking show. This nearly 20-year-old footage of Bill Belichick making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches was uploaded to YouTube today. [UPDATE: Also, others uploaded this video three years ago.]

Bill puts PB&J on both sides of the bread? Innovator! I need to try that! I usually just put PB on one side and the jam on the other. That looks like crappy jelly too.

somebody finally, finally emailed it to TBL. That’s what he means by “uploaded to youtube today.” He means emailed him a link with a brief description.

I’ve been doing PB on both sides of the bread since the 80s. BB’s mom is a hack.

New LSU OC Steve Kragthorpe has Parkinson’s. He just resigned.
/RIP 2011 LSU season
//good luck to Steve Kragthorpe

This was before he became a outwardly dictatorial asshole, so it’s not too strange. I find the mid 90s and 2011 haircut similarity to be the most jarring observation from this.
August 4th, 2011 at 1:48 PM
I think he’s just going to be the QB coach now.

Took me a few minutes.

Orozco? Shea? Beckerman?
are they defenders? Because if they are defenders, they can’t be worse than the ones we currently have.

That’s terrible. That guy has had a streak of bad luck. He wasn’t given the proper support at Louisville and they practically ran him out of town when he couldn’t replicate Petrino’s success.

Peanut butter is my favorite thing to eat. I will eat a jar in a day if you leave me alone with it.

that was darkly humorous, dirt.

there is a local healthcare facility that has a roadsign sign that reads
Dementia Care Beyond Compare
can;t remember if it has a ! on the end, for perkiness, but it always seemed a weird thing to rhyme about
Pain Relief Beyond Belief!

Orozco is. And I wasn’t criticizing the choices, just found them surprising. While, on the contrary, I don’t know why anybody would be surprised by Dempsey opting out.

Whoever came up with mixing the peanut butter and the jelly in the same jar is a real asshole. That stuff sucks.
August 4th, 2011 at 2:00 PM
Ha ha. Well, let’s be honest, he puts on the asshole face on the sidelines, interviews and in front of the camera. But apparently he’s a cool guy in the locker room.
August 4th, 2011 at 2:00 PM
Thats because, fuck the media.

You sound like one of the Patriots players now.
“We played well, they played well, but we played better in the fourth quarter.”

I either blacked out for a very, very long time again, or you’ve got “Grey’s Sports Alamanac” from Marty McFly.
