Colin Cowherd Now Has A Twitter Beef With Arian Foster
ESPN, NFL August 28th. 2011, 4:14pm
We all know and love Colin Cowherd around these parts. The controversial ESPN radio personality and SportsNation host is damn good at pushing buttons and making ridiculous claims that get people angry, inspire blog posts and draw incensed callers to help the cycle start anew.
Earlier today, Texans running back, Arian Foster expressed his lack of amusement with Fantasy Football owners on Twitter.
4 those sincerely concerned, I’m doing ok & plan 2 B back by opening day. 4 those worried abt your fantasy team, u ppl are sick
Enter Cowherd’s notoriously sharp tongue:
Hey Arian Foster— ‘We really do care about you as a human too. Um,now about that hammy? –signed, everybody
Foster responded with this tweet:
Did you want to be a critic as a child? Or did your dreams die with your humility?
He forgot the #shotsfired tag, but we’ll let it slide. Whose side are you on? The football player who doesn’t care about fantasy owners? Or the radio host with a penchant for annoying bloggers?

Damn, Foster absolutely owned Cowherd.
And I’d love Foster to take him down a peg or two.

Foster, fantasy football nearly sucks as much as Colin Cowherd
August 28th, 2011 at 4:38 PM
Cowherd should stick to things he knows about.
/like A.J. Burnett’s divorce
August 28th, 2011 at 4:44 PM
Actually I’m surprised that somebody at ESPN took five minutes out of TebowWatch to notice that Arian Foster got injured.
August 28th, 2011 at 5:00 PM
You could give the entire NFL 10 minutes to come up with a better response. That would still be the best one.

Too bad didn’t happen two weeks ago. It would have been in the culture tourney thing I don’t have no clue. We’d all be wondering who the 2% of people that voted clicked on Cowherd’s circle.

At least Arian Foster doesn’t have a website for Cowherd to call for a Denial of Service attack on, like what he did to this website some time ago.
August 28th, 2011 at 5:20 PM
Comparing it to the first tweet, I’m guessing he had help composing that one…
August 28th, 2011 at 5:29 PM
First one was longer.
August 28th, 2011 at 5:34 PM
Wade Phillips?
/That’s three holding calls on the same team in a quarter and a half. That ain’t funny.
//That was his dad
///apple doesn’t fall too far

I listened to Cowherd for 10 minutes the other day. First time in a year. He was making a point that Hollywood only makes movies that people are going to go see in droves. And likewise, he’s only going to make points and talk about things that reach the same lowest common denominator. In other words, he called himself the Smurfs movie of sports radio.
August 28th, 2011 at 5:41 PM
When I listened he was justified all this attention that goes to Tim Tebow and Notre Dame because “most sports fans” only care about them because they have lives and don’t care about the score of the Marlins game.
/or something like that
//RATINGS!
August 28th, 2011 at 5:41 PM
*justifying
August 28th, 2011 at 5:57 PM
lol.
Trollface needs to be prematurely ‘shopped over Cowherd’s face.
August 28th, 2011 at 6:02 PM
Cowherd is a fucking troll. Suh should just shoot those laser beams from his eyes and melt that douche as soon as Colin calls him a dirty player which you know is coming.
August 28th, 2011 at 6:03 PM
Whose side are you on?
Can I get another option?
August 28th, 2011 at 6:53 PM
Knowing what I do about Arian Foster, I’m guessing he didn’t.
August 28th, 2011 at 7:24 PM
I love to play fantasy football because I like to watch football anyways. But if anyone is out there inquiring of Arian Foster, they are idiots. That is true whether they play fantasy football or not. It’s just a stinking game.

Hi, I’m Bob and I’m a proud new member of the Arian Foster fan club.
/will try not to pronounce his name as A-ryan anymore.
//would root for Notre Dame if they cracked Cowherd like this
August 28th, 2011 at 8:14 PM
Foster’s agent is a good writer.
August 28th, 2011 at 8:58 PM
Cowherd should hire him then. It’ll keep him from getting owned on twitter.
August 28th, 2011 at 11:20 PM
Did anyone notice that was a joke? I guess sarcasm is lost on everyone. We don’t know Arian Foster so why would we care about his well being. If he didn’t play football we wouldn’t know who he was anyway.
The fact that Foster thinks that is criticism speaks to how sensitive he is. Fantasy football not withstanding, we just wanna know when he will be healthy so we can watch him on sundays. WE means sports fans by the way

Foster majored in philosophy at Tennessee…not exactly a typical major for an athlete. I don’t know if he got his degree, but I suspect he wrote the tweet himself.
August 29th, 2011 at 8:55 AM
I hate to admit it, but I’m on Colin’s side here. If it weren’t for fantasy football, nobody would give a shit about that hammy. Does anybody outside of Houston even careif the Texans win week 1? Of course not, many of us are drafting this weekend!!!
August 29th, 2011 at 10:18 AM
I am with Foster here. I can’t stand Colin
August 29th, 2011 at 11:09 AM
Cowherd is a tool.
August 29th, 2011 at 12:12 PM
Does anybody outside of Houston even careif the Texans win week 1?
Yes. Have the over in wins for the year. 8.5
/Love Wade Phillips as a Def coordinator
/Yes, degenerate gambler.

Arian isn’t the athlete you want to try to get in an argument with. He’s a sharp dude. Nicely done Foster.
August 29th, 2011 at 8:44 PM
I was rooting for hurricane Irene to do some serious damage to Cowherd’s house. Hopefully with him in it.
