Brandon Jacobs Continues to be a Non-Factor, but Fortunately, “I got a fast-ass car being delivered on Tuesday”
NFL October 31st. 2011, 10:15am
Brandon Jacobs’ career has hit its nadir this season – a paltry 126 yards on just 42 carries and two touchdowns – and he’s clearly not happy with his lack of opportunities. After a 4-carry, 10-yard clunker against the Dolphins in which he was booed lustily, the 29-year-old popped off in the locker room:
“I’ve got nothing positive to say,” Jacobs said. “The most positive thing: I got family at home and I got a fast-ass car being delivered on Tuesday. That’s it.”
Congrats on the new wheels, Jacobs. My guess? He probably got himself a McLaren F1 or perhaps a Ferrari Enzo. I’m sure Giants fans are thrilled he got a 4-year, $25 million deal in 2009. He’s slated to make $4.4 million next year. [ESPN NY via Evan Silva]

I would assume most of that guaranteed money will have been paid by the start of next season. Giants will just cut him. Probably should have stopped after, “I’ve got nothing positive to say.”

He was pretty good at running into the backs of his offensive line yesterday. Not sure why he wanted to do that.

Huge guys that run like he don’t ever last longer than 2 or 3 years. Marion Barber, Christian Okoye, Barry Word, Bam Morris, Natrone Means, Marion Butts… all guys around 250 pounds that burned out fast.

Kinda makes the Bus all that more impressive to have lasted as long as he did.

Epic. I may just have to call it a day and not come back for fear of disappointing posts this afternoon.

He played well last year. Yesterday he looked like as Warren Sapp calls him, the tip toe bandit
